I didn't even think Pirlo was bad, he wasn't as good as he was in some other games this season obviously but he wasn't actively bad, I feel Vidal was worse than him even. He got us out of a few tight spots with lobbed passes to defeat Barca's high press and jump-started counterattacks, he messed up a couple of times but he also defended well, even against Messi (who noticed that when Pirlo was able to take the ball away from Messi? I almost spilled my drink!).

Personally I would hate to see Pirlo go, he sure won't be a starter for us starting next season but he can be a sub like Xavi is for Barca for when we need his quality in the midfield. I'd like him to retire in Juve if possible, pretending he suddenly is bad when he couldn't do much against a team renowned for its high and tight pressing and when he had Suarez man-marking him the entire game is just wrong. Pirlo is a great player and even today you could see it.

people need to be realistic. this is going to be the only chance to win CL for some time. individually speaking the team was much better last season, only this season allegri made them a tactically modern team europe with balls.

the rebirth will take many years to replace players like pirlo, barzagli, licht, buffon, evra, tevez, etc.. imagine how well this team would have done with pirlo and barzagli in 2012 form this year.

I watched the game with like 20 people and 12 of them were Barca fans, all I kept thinking is how proud and lucky I am to be the one juve fan in the room. They will never know what it means and feels like to be a juve fan, they will never have that love we have for this team.

I know that tomorrow I will wake up feeling down. Then some time later in the afternoon I will go back reading the pages full of beautiful posts here and I will be reminded to feel proud again for being one juve fan among juve fans

I was also the only Juventino while watching the game with my friends. 2 of them Barca fans, 2 of them Messi fanatics, the rest neutrals. I was more devastated than they were happy. So proud to be Juventino! We have a special love for our team, unlike the 90% of the Barca, Real, Chelsea fans.

Being good because you have a certain physique and good technique are things that you will find more often than players that are intelligent enough to see plays that did not happen yet and the passing ability to unsettle the whole opponents defense.
Veratti and pogba are both very skilled, but only one of them plays like a mature and intelligent person.

It is like the comparison between the pasts del piero versus inters Adriano. One had skill and brain and the other was only successful because of skill and brute force.

The ball is always faster than any player so to outplay the enemy dribbling will only slow down the pace andlet the enemy defense reposition itself while great passes make it impossible for the enemy to event react.
