I know you have missed my other posts because there's so much activity but i'm not blaming the ref entirely. First half we got $#@!d. Took us too long to react properly.

We played a poor first half, but managed to remain in the game, then took the initiative in the second half, scored, looked to be pressing for a second, and the ref swallowed his whistle on two straight fouls by Barca players. A penalty, and the foul that started the counter they scored on. Absolutely no consistency considering he called every little contact a foul against us.

There is no magical fairytale that will balance this out in the years to come. Or a fariytale that makes the final in 2003 a footnote. Life can be ruthless and so is football. The next years most likely will be dominated - as always - by Real, Barca, Bayern and maybe by the PL, simply because of the wealth they have. It could be decades to ever seeing win Juve the CL again, you can play the perfect season, but still lose the final by bad luck or small mistakes. Our biggest problem to consistently reach finals - as Barca does - is the Serie A. There is a limit to what level you can reach with that problem on your side.
What the fuck are talking about dude?

I'm sad as ever! It sucks that un-given foul on pogba resulted with 2nd goal. The only sattisfaction I get is seeing bunch of assholes like admins and mods here suffer like pieces of shit after this loss.

Forever yours,
Lowlife

Very proud of the team and this season. Hurts like a bitch though.

Thanks all for the great memories and let's make the next season even better.
Forza.

The stars were alligned perfectly this year Mark. Berlin v02, Pirlo probably leaving, Buffon and his whole careed. Beating Real in semis, revenge for Euro 2012... This is seriously devastating, I wish I was as optimistic as you guys.
aligned for them yes and the similarities with the Azzurri but I feel we'll be a better club next year. Focus solely on the CL.

Vidal slapped Alves on the head right afterwards. I think he had six fouls during the game. Pogba has 2 or 3 fouls after his yellow card.

I understand you are upset as everyone else is but they were definitely the better team.
I've never once said the opposite. Vidal didn't slap him on the head. He patted him. Clear difference. That's not a sending off, don't be ridiculous. And the second foul against Pogba after the yellow he was outrunning the Barca player who just threw himself to the ground in a clear dive.

All I'm saying is choosing to swallow his whistle on a clear penalty at 1-1 and then doing the same on another clear foul that started the counter with which they scored goal number 2 obviously shifted all momentum right back to Barca. And that is bullshit.

What the $#@! are talking about dude?
I think you are completely underrating the massiveness of the TV deal the PL will enjoy from 2016 on. They will be much more wealthy than Juve, which will lead to obvious consequences. Everything else is wishful thinking. I'm not saying Juve cant reach the final again btw, just that's it's going to be extremely hard in the years to come. Let's hope for the best.

Also it took over a decade to see Juve in the CL again after 2003 and at least 20 years - probably more - to see Juve ever win the CL again after '96. So saying it could take decades isn't too far off realistically speaking.
