Barcelona: '33 Juve titles'

Barcelona have tipped their hat towards Juventus ahead of the Champions League Final by declaring they have 33 Scudetti.

The two giants go head-to-head in Berlin on Saturday evening for the trophy.

The official Barça Twitter account ran an infographic with “everything you need to know about Juventus.”

This included a list of their silverware and 33 editions of the Serie A title.

It has been a matter of contention, as the 2004-05 and 2005-06 Scudetti were stripped by the FIGC in the Calciopoli scandal.

The Juventus Stadium has 33 in very large font on the front entrance and merchandise confidently declares they have won 33 titles.

However, the FIGC, UEFA and FIFA officially recognise only 31 of those.

The 2004-05 edition was left unassigned, while the 2005-06 campaign was handed to Inter.

Barcelona does offcourse have a history of revolting a bit against the establishment.

Catalonian team, a region wich wants independence. And around 2000's, (and probably before) saw its biggest rival get unfair advantages.

Just like we have the FIGC and the non juventini italia against us, they used to get spain against them.

Guys, don't be fooled. This is our fake humility. Don't let this foolish trick soothe your hatred.

There's a doomsday cult in this thread. They moan about Pirlo too, but if Pirlo is injured, then they will act if it is the end of the world.
So true.

Also ,one of the crucial things in this game is Pogba's shape. He can make a difference .A big one .When he is at his peak a very ,very few players can be compared to him, maybe no one.I am speaking both in attack and in defense.

Personally I will be just as confident with Barzagli starting, if not moreso.

I love Chiellini, don't get me wrong, I even bought this season's jersey with his name on it. I will miss his tenacity, strength and bullying (and was looking forward to the Suarez rivalry). Often times this kind of attitude is needed to make the difference in a final such as this.

However, Barzagli is a better reader of the game, which will be huge with the likes of Messi, Neymar and Suarez running at our backline. He's just better positionally. Not to mention Chiellini has been very error prone this season, especially in the CL, with all the slips and such. We can't afford that in this game, a gift to Barca would all but condemn us to defeat.

Once Ogbonna doesn't start we have just as much chance as if Chiellini was fit. We can definitely still win this game if we dig deep and play a pretty much perfect game.
