Trez: 'Juve exploit Barca weakness'
By Football Italia staff

David Trezeguet said Juventus will “make the most of Barcelona’s weaknesses” and advised Paul Pogba to stay.

The build-up to Saturday’s Champions League Final in Berlin continues and ex-Juve striker Trez spoke to RMC Sport.

“The Blaugrana are the team to beat at the moment. We’ve had a difficult journey, but proved our quality. We’ll play our cards and know our strength.

“We know it will be tough, but will try to win the Treble. History counts for a lot. We are concentrated on the game and can make the most of Barcelona’s weaknesses.”

French midfield sensation Pogba is expected to start and Trezeguet has some advice for the youngster.

“Pogba is amazing considering his age. He has technique and pace, becoming very important for the club. He has a great rapport with everyone and Patrice Evra also helped him settle.

“He knows that he can still improve and write history here. For the future, I advise him to remain at Juventus.

“Paul knows that he is in a top club and that over the next few years the level will be raised further to regularly be on a par with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

“One day Gigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo and Carlos Tevez will leave, so then the team will be built around Pogba.”

Guys do we need to be worried about the referee Cakir!? His profile doesn't make for very good reading, knowing we have some tough tacklers on the squad, I'm beginning to worry about sendings off in this game.

Is there some kind of translation mistake here or am I missing the meaning of this ?

Just registered to wish you guys luck on saturday (as a Barca fan). Although, I must admit I am bit surprised over the hate towards Barcelona as a team. I understand the hate against Neymar and Busquets but a lot of you seem to have a genuine dislike against Barcelona as a team.

It's because to a lot of people, Barca is seen as an arrogant and pretentious club. And most of the fan - at least the ones I know - are the worst.

Not on Real's level.

any barca fans ive met have been decent folk and generally quite contemplative of our team.

I personally don't hold any animosity towards Barca, they're a great team to watch in fairness.

i understand people will demonise them because of their success but can't really understand the hate

Obviously I am biased as shit because I am a supporter of the club but what exactly is causing that perception? The only thing that really strikes me pretentious is that a lot of supports deem our jersey to be so holy that we shouldn't wear any any name on it aside from UNICEF.

I don't mind Real fans because they don't pretend to be this holy, benevolent organisation, and don't expect people to like them. Barca fans always think the way the play is the best, everyone should play that way, you should love and appreciate Messi, all your players will automatically dream of playing for Barca, and every other club, and all other football is worthless and not worth discussing.

A lot of the ones I've met.

I agree with most of your analysis. What do you think about 3-5-2 against Barca?
I think it doesn't match up nicely with Barca's front three the way 4-3-1-2 does.

I you play 3-5-2, you are probably committing to playing very deeping and hoping for Tevez or Morata to pinch a goal. Playing very deep and passive, you are very a great risk that Barca will score one way or another eventually.

4-3-1-2 gives Juve a chance to play Barca higher up the pitch and gives Juve's midfield a much greater chance to impose itself.

I kinda like Barca.. i had a soft spot for them long before ronaldinho and messi existed.

But i have to admit that they have an enormous excess of stupid bandwagoners worldwide thanks to Messi and their recent successes (since rikard era))

The dislike comes largely from Barca people claim some sort of moral superiority due to their brand of football.

That and many of the players coming across as utter cunts.
