Just watched Barcelona - Bayern game (3:0) again. Bayern really looked solid, they were even better then Barcelona at the start of the second half. They certainly didn't deserve 3 goals in the net.

Lot of people spit on Pirlo already, too slaw, will cost us the final :blah::blah:. Let me tell you something - it's actaully Pirlo who could be the key man in this match. There are times when Barcelona lose possession and their defence literally stands at the center of the pitch. With Pirlo and Bonucci in our team and Tevez or Morata running in behind the defence at perfect occasion - we could easily score.
thats what ive been saying. 100% true

Dude. I know a lot of posters here get emotional and that's okay. Serie B sucked. But let's not pretend this was a rags to riches to story. We were always a big club, even in B.
It's not even being a big club in serie B it is remembering the road through suffering, hardship and sorrow we took as fans and the players especially Buffon took 9 years ago to turn it right around, it has been one hell of an unreal journey and a major chapter in our club's history one that i hope will have a fairy tale ending. Big club or not at times it felt like taking 1 step forward and 2 paces back. We are here now and in the words of Conte - Never forget where we came from.

I disagree.Bayern tried to play man for man in the first 20 mins, we could of been 3-0 up.It was suicidal and Pep changed the system.

They had a go at the start of the 2nd half, but that was about it.Barca thoroughly deserved that win and I think we will be slight favs for the final.

actually we beat Parma 4-1 in our opening match in the new stadium :) I remember being at the game and re watched it in the hotel room later that evening and I thought WE might just have a chance here! in the hope that It wouldn't be a repeat of expectations after Diego tore roma a new one

Everytime I remember that game I just remember that we scored 4 , that shitty penalty we gave up always slips my mind . That match was our rebirth , we had a convincing win while playing spectacular football .

Chiellini was so right in his interview today, when he said Messi wouldn't score that Copa goal in Italy.

Someone would have willingly taken the yellow with a slide tackle to stop that play. There were literally 3 different moments where I was certain a Bilbao player would slide in and accept the yellow to stop him, especially the last man, just a few yards before Messi entered the box.

Cringeworthy defending. Ridiculous.

I can't see our defenders and mids ever letting Messi run like that with the ball. Absolutely no way.
