I don't like Buffon's quote on our chances. “Against Real we might have had a 35% chance of making it past them, so I guess the chances of now winning the trophy against this Barcelona side are even slimmer,” he said in an interview with UEFA.com." We need to show more confidence than that.

Marchisio on the other hand: “Our chance of winning? 50/50,” he said in a pre-match Press conference on Monday.

This team is flat out dominant domestically and has shown it is very strong internationally as well. We should be confident but cautious going into the final.
I think Gigi, being the captain of this team, wants to keep that underdog feeling within the team. This extra bof motivation has worked very well so far.

Since the day of the final is the day the invasion of Normandy happened i wrote a short story :D

D-day is near. The general Eisenhower(Agnelli) with the others Allied leaders ( Marotta, Nedved) have given their orders to their best general (Alegri) who will storm the beaches in Berlin in 20:45 CET on the 6th of June. Only to think that 5 years ago at the beginning of the war the Allies were suffering, there where many losses until general Eisenhower decided to take a risk and promote a corporal(Conte) to the rank of general and let him lead the troops. The gamble paid off the newly appointed general was a natural leader with lot of charisma. The soldiers folk to him and they would gladly give their lives to the cause. The first year they were unbeaten in every battle and rooted out the spies and traitors in their own country and rule since without opposition. The next challenge was to dominate on a larger scale but there was a problem the Nazis(R.Madrid, Barca, B. Munich) have grown too strong over the years they had to be stopped but attacking them at this state would be suicide as it was proven on several occasions 2nd and 10th of April 2013 most noted defeats. The Allies were discouraged the celebrated general Conte decided to give up said he needed more funding if the Allies were to win the war. General Eisenhower was outraged and when he refused the demands the general Conte gave him his resignation. It seemed as all hope for victory was lost but general Eisenhower would not give in and at the last moment of desperation he appointed a general(Allegri) who was fighting against them when they were trying to gain domestic influence. All his advisers told him he was mad that it was the worst decision he had ever made, the soldiers were rioting but general Eisenhower stood his ground. Then the preparations begun for the upcoming war. The long 3 months have ended it was time to see what will become of the Allied forces. The start of the war was shaky the new general tried several tactics trying to outsmart his opponents but the first few months it wasn't going so well in the war vs the Nazis. Then something happened, things started to turn around it was clear then more then ever the new general Allegri had the secret weapon vs the Nazis. General Eisenhower was so pleased with himself he was jumping out of joy and then it hit him he needed a grand plan if the Allied forces were to win the war. The plan was formed after the victory over one of the larger divisions of the Nazi army. One large invasion all of the Allied soldiers in a single point(Olympiastadion, Berlin) at the same time. They were either going to win the bloody war or die trying and the plan for D-day was born. All that is left now to see the outcome of this brilliant operation, this great battle ahead and see who will emerge victorious.

I was watching the CL magazine show the other day and they showed how Barca choked against Steaua in front of thousands of Spaniards in Seville,Spain and in front of the Spansh king.
And they were overwhelming favorites for that game just like the final in 94 with all that 'dream team' hype.

Man,to think that we were a bigger club than them in 2006.How times have changed

This week can be potentially one of the best of my life thus far. I'm graduating from Uni, my home team won historical first domestic cup and my favorite team can win a historical treble! JUST FUCKIN WOW! The only thing I have to decide is witch jersey to wear for the final :weee:
Screw your home team! :)

Just watched Barcelona - Bayern game (3:0) again. Bayern really looked solid, they were even better then Barcelona at the start of the second half. They certainly didn't deserve 3 goals in the net.

Lot of people spit on Pirlo already, too slaw, will cost us the final :blah::blah:. Let me tell you something - it's actaully Pirlo who could be the key man in this match. There are times when Barcelona lose possession and their defence literally stands at the center of the pitch. With Pirlo and Bonucci in our team and Tevez or Morata running in behind the defence at perfect occasion - we could easily score.

After Serie B then the Ferrara/Zaccheroni and Del Neri years i wasn't sure if their ever would be a next time for Juve in a CL final. Win or lose i wont ever forget this season. It has honestly been the best year for me as a Juve supporter since i'm supporting the club since 2001.

I just wish Del Piero was still part of the club some how so he could be there on saturday to be with the team. He is the soul of Juve and i know no player is bigger than any club but since Del Piero left it feels like a part of Juve left with him as well.
