maccabi will defend with all their lines so why not both?...if i was ciro i would put in the most offensive team that i have at my disposal.
How come ?

you probably never watched Haifa play before, but assuming they will park the bus just cause they are a small team playing away is wrong.

They always played attacking football in the CL and they know they dont have good enough defence to keep a scoreless draw so they will try to score.
you can watch the bordeaux game.

With that said I would still play an offensive team cause we play at home against a weaker team and we desperatly need the confidance boost of a convincing win asap.

Ferrara seeks redemption

Juventus boss Ciro Ferrara says his players have the desire to redeem themselves against Israeli side Maccabi Haifa tomorrow evening.

The Bianconeri are without a win in five games and the Italian Press are beginning to talk of a crisis in Turin.

Tuttosport ran a headline on Monday reading: “Ferrara change!”

It appears as if he has taken their advice, as Juventus are apparently reverting from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 ahead of Haifa’s arrival in Italy.

“There is great desire for redemption after a negative moment even if it hasn’t been disastrous,” Ferrara explained.

“It’s true that it isn’t usual for Juventus to not win for a month, but the draws have been different and everyone is analysed individually.”

Turning his attention to tomorrow night’s game, Ferrara kept his cards close to his chest regarding a reported change of formation.

“Maccabi are a well organised team and we will face them with the utmost respect,” he concluded.

Juventus have yet to win in the Champions League so far this season.

They were held by French champions Bordeaux and came away from Bayern Munich with a point.
