if that s case then Allegri lost game?! Not players? i mean defence pushed did so much mistakes that i get feeling Villareal wasted a lot of time XD
Whatever. The players failed Allegri and Allegri should have anticipated the players that might make mistakes?

I wanted Cuadrado out and Dybala in at the 60 minute mark. Rabiot should have been replaced by Bernardeschi. 0-3 does not show the match picture but it is what will be remembered.

Full throttle for the first half and instead of trying to push for result they've decided to stop and have a break and then they were unable to comeback and push again, Allegri's disaster class

We have been playing a brand of football that has been getting us results in serie A but no surprise we get caught out in the CL. Lots of work to do this summer, on and off the field.

At least top4 is now guaranteed, right? :baus:
Honestly we all know advancing past next round was nearly impossible. Lost I guess some money from not advancing but don't make CL next season and probably a lot of dough lost. After seeing this team early on in league play, 4th place was/is the only priority.

Can’t believe this game ended up 3-0

    Unbelievable
To be honest as soon as it went 1-0 anything could happen. There wasn't long left so we naturally left gaps at the back to push forward and were picked off after mistakes by Danilo and De Ligt.

First half was as good as we've played in a long time but seemed inevitable we were going to blow it went we didn't score. Annoying that Rugani, Danilo and De Ligt who have been solid for us ended up making big mistakes. The big issue was the midfield though and that the only one capable of creating anything was Cuadrado, who tired after 60mins or so.

Between minutes 64 and 74 they made 3 subs and we started getting tired.
This, sums it up, we got tired too early. It was plain to see Villarreal we're saving it till mid second half. Risky but they literally held the ball doing jack shit making our players run around and waste energy. Great tactics from Emery, it worked but would have all been so different had they chased the game.

Villareal did nothing till Moreno was sub in. Until 70 min it was nothing. 3:0 as FT s not fair still hard to debate that they simple overplay us in last 15 min

Players are to blame, but so is the coach for his inability to react to those subs and make earlier substitutions. Allegri is a fucking coward, still living off past glory.
Exactly. And lets be honest, if any new coach would get the results Allegri has achieved this year, his ass would be blasted off to neverland by everyone.
Even Pirlo performed better last year and everyone was trashing him.

Did we really though? First half was okay, but in the second half our build up play was utterly moronic.

    What a collapse.
This. We were brave and adventurous in the first, wasting a few chances, and should've comfortably gone in 2-0 up. However, after the break, it seems we became more cautious and scared to attack them. We really need a more proactive approach in Europe.

This is a humiliation. And this goes to Alegri a lot.Didn't make a fucking change until we concede. His own mentality to sub players at 75-80 minute.Rugani is simply not a Juve material.HUMILIATION is a right word!Big,big shame!

Wasting chances has been a consistent theme all season. We need a ridiculous amount of chances before we score. Just not good enough.
