No he's not taking longer, we're usually quite bad around this time of the season with him.
I agree, but at the same time it feels as if there has been some sort of fundamental change within the team. I think we're the weakest we've been in at least 4 years. It's not unusual either, because we've been superior in Italy and good in Europe for quite a while now and at some point the magic between a coach and his players just ends.

One of our biggest weaknesses in these games is that we run out of steam when trying to compete with teams like this. We had a good first half in Cardiff but then Real just steamrolled us in the second half. We had a similarly good half at Camp Nou a few months ago, but then got crushed in the second half again.

The problem is that we can't keep more than 40% possession in these games so we spend the entire first half pressing these teams. Then our players are simply too tired by the second half. If we want to compete in these games, we need to be able to keep the ball better so we spend less time chasing shadows.

Let's see if Allegri has learned from his mistakes at Cardiff and plays a 3 man midfield without traffic cone Khedira.

Didn’t we play a 3 man midfield at the camp nou ?

Don’t get me wrong , I like the idea of a 3 man mid , but it’s more about quick passing and linking up , which we saw in the first half at Sampdoria and also in the first half in Cardiff .
More importantly we need to get more solid , stay calm and have more grinta.

Why do we need both Sturaro and Asamoah? We already have enough cover in the midfield position if our mids get injured. We have Howedes that can cover both fullback spots if they get injured. We only need one of them, not both.

I can't believe he left Berna out. :sergio:

If we grab a draw tomorrow it will already be a success itself considering we will have Benatia and MDS covering one side of our defence... anyway, regardless of the formation i just hope we don’t mess up again and take our chances when we get them, Barcelona are beatable.

Gonna have to oil up MDS joints, gonna be rusty as fuck
