Why take it personally, these remarks are obviously directed towards certain opinions around here.
please consider tagging whoever it's pointed to, otherwise it seems like it's aimed at all readers of the forum. only those who know you well would understand, difficult for someone like me.

Sorry Zach, but it doesn't work that way. Destroying pathetic opposition and racking up a highly impressive points tally doesn't mark our abysmal failure in Europe. I'm very happy that we managed to win Serie A foe a 3rd conseuctive season, but if we win the title again next season and fail in Europe, I honestly wouldn't give two shits.
Thats actually horrible, because every league title is an achievement on his own. Winning it 3 times in a row is a massive achievement. Going out 2 rounds early is unfortunate, and sure, plenty of excuses to why.

If we pick it up and proceed next year, making QF or semi's, then no one will remember we crashed out in the group the year before, but our 102 point league record will be reminded for a very very long time

Consistency is important though. We can't reach the QF one year, and then crash out of the group stage the next. Juventus kinda remind me of Italy in international competitions. Either they go far, or they are miserable.
It is yes, but a fuckup is always possible.
And this season we started with two strikers without playing time the year before, that didn't know eachother and the team very well.
We also had some bad luck and above that, we also didn't play our best so then this can happen.
Let's just hope they have learned something for next year.

If Mou had won it and won it in his first year at R.Madrid he would be voted for president of the universe and Jose would claim that he is God.

here is a link to their '12/13 financial report. please point out how they failed financially.
http://www.realmadrid.com/socios/carnet-de-socio/informes-anuales

their sponsorship and commercial activities, ticket revenues are all correlated with their star players. they get nearly €40m from friendlies alone because of star appeal, I doubt Juve get €4m from friendlies. owner's equity increased from around €30 million when the Galactico project started to over €300m now. They make profits every year, very few clubs even manage to break-even.
Iirc, they were planning to invest into a holyday resort last year, cause they made so much profit, they had to invest it somewere, cause else its just wasted on taxes.

he was terrible at juventus though
We finished 2'nd in the two seasons he was here. That hardly qualifies as terrible.

The man is a proven winner. He has won 3 CL titles as a coach, and 2 as a player. No coach currently in circulation has managed that feat, not even that smug cunt some of you cream your pants over, and who is currently managing London Blue.
