Change the logo ASAP.

WE need to turn this era of european defeatism from all angles. Start from a brand new fresh begginign with new signings and hunger to win the cup next season.

I haven't said anything after the loss as I was too gutted.

My quick thoughts.

Firstly, I think we were unlucky to an extent (even though Real Madrid definitely deserved it). 2 deflected goals was really unlucky. Although you could argue that Mandzukic's goals was a bit of a freak goal too.

People go on about Higuain having an off day but Dybala was really disappointing because I thought he could be a big game player. He was totally lost out there - I think it may have had something to do with Zidane's tactics.

After we conceded in the 2nd half, we just looked soooo ordinary.

I have seen us play like that in the league when we go up a goal. Never thought I would see that once behind in a final. We must have really ran too much in the 1st half. Real Madrid have experience and knew that the game could go for more than 90min.

I think in the final against Barca we were too slow at the beginning and perhaps we overcompensated in this game by spending too much energy in the 1st half. Who knows.

I am not so disappointed that we lost - but I feel we should have given a much better account of ourselves especially after such an encouraging 1st half.

WE NEED TO WIN THIS COMPETITION SOON - I HAVE SAT THROUGH 4 FINALS AND SEEN US LOSE THEM ALL AND ITS ANNOYING AS HELL

I honestly think we need a better attacking game at this level too. We need to have more options. Real had Bale, James, Morata on the bench whereas we only had Cuadrado. I know Pjaca was not available but at this level you need another player of Higuain / Dybala calibre ready to bring on.

As I said, RM at first half only focus on stop Dybala and Dani partnership, they tilted the field to the left on purpose and that's why AS have so many space to run and Carvajal focus on put down Mandzo everytime he took the ball to avoid we outnumber him.

The problem was Max didn't notice all this was more relate to ZIzou choice that for our game plan, by the second they decided to press high and wide and we just sit down and tried to display our super defense.

The issue was that they got a very good lucky goal and our players just went mode crazy EPL, tried to get an easy goal and overplayed them in one-to-one play when they are obviously used and better on that than us, our strength were we are a better team but we didn't play like one in the second half cuz afetr the Casemiro goal, we just broke mentally like Netherlands in a WC game

Hadn't it been this fucking deflection, we all would hail our "legendary defence" and our passionate game while celebrating.

Fact is, Madrid dominated the midfield in the start of the 2nd half, but they created absolutely nothing until this fucking 1-2 deflection.

Cannot believe that people are attributing this loss to a deflected goal.
Madrid utterly destroyed us in the second half, it was an embarrassing display. We couldn't get the ball out of our half and couldn't even string together 3-4 passes.

The world is laughing at us but to be in the final twice in three years is something special because only a few teams can do that lately. Not EPL overrated teams, not Merda, not 7-1 Roma, etc. So here's the deal: only elite teams can laugh at us, the rest can shut the fuck up. Your team can't even in the CL final ffs.

What you laughing? Seems pretty fair tbh. Maybe 1-2 players would swap. Real is expected to dominate if they won the thing. And all the strikers scored more than Juventus strikers so you cant expect Higuain or Dybala there. Khedira is anonymous so shouldnt be there, Marchisio didnt play enough to be justified there, Sandro went missing in the final.

Alves is the only big miss now that i check the defense, kind of surprise one as well given his impact till the final.

Real deserved to win but I just wanna point out that 3 Real players systematically stamped Juve players: Carvajal/Kroos/Marcelo stamped Mandzukic/Khedira/Dani Alves respectively. I let you express your opinions.
