We can learn some hard facts after this game.
- Llorente will not see any playing time with Conte, ever. We will never know exactly why. Probably not even Llorente knows why. Let's just hope Marotta can ship him away on loan in january and some team buy him for 12M in next mercato.
- Conte will NEVER give up his stubborn 3 CBs scheme. Never, ever, ever. Let's get used to it.
- The objetctive is clearly to win the League again. If we manage to reach 4 finals again, good.
- Our squad is very thin, considering Marrone and Giaccherini went away (even though Conte barely played Marrone, and he'd do it again this season) and Llorente is non existant.
- Conte has great qualities, but his stuborness is beyond words. World is not ending if he leaves Juventus at the end of the season. He complains a lot about the gap between Juve and European greats, but the fault is at him too, with his ultra conservative positions.
Having said that, I won't up my hopes this season. Serie A will be very very tough. In Europe we stand no chance, given the very mediocre and conservative mentality of the coach. Let's hope we can win Serie A the next years while we prepare our finance so we can finally give another step towards Europe. But I have the feeling we'll be stuck for 2/3 years (in Europe).
And one last thing. To me it's clearer than ever that this team heavily relies on the physical capacity. Vidal and Pirlo really suffer when they play so much in a very short period of time. They desperately need a week to rest.
