i swear, if Juve doesn't get through, i'm won't be able to show my face to all my friends until the season is over...:frown:

I don't want to have to cry over Juve.... especially not when the season hasn't even started yet...

I don't like the probable line-up :undecide: Having Blasi, Tacchinardi and Emerson in a four man midfield when you need to score goals is a no no imo. Blasi is not a real winger and we need to win or play out a high-scoring draw. Personally I'd drop Tacchinardi, play either Manuele or Appiah next to Emerson in the centre, and Olivera/Kapo on the right.

Goalkeeper Gigi Buffon is an injury concern for Juventus’ Champions’ League game on Wednesday.

The ‘keeper has been named in the squad for the Djurgarden trip even if he missed training on Monday.

It is believed that the Italian international is struggling with a shoulder problem which has hampered him in the past.

Pavel Nedved is included for the Swedish match after he successfully recovered from a knee injury.

Players absent include Stephan Appiah - after just returning from the Olympics - the injured Mark Iuliano and Mauro Camoranesi, plus the suspended Jonathan Zebina.

"We need to win," says Lilian Thuram after the surprise 2-2 first-leg draw in Turin. "We may be conceding too many goals but it is just important to score one more than our opposition."

The Bianconeri haven’t been too impressive so far this term but the stopper insists they can improve.

"It is too soon to judge us as we have played very few games so far," he continued. "In the first leg we lacked the necessary aggression until we went 2-0 down.

"If we don’t win this game then we could ruin a great chunk of the new campaign. That is something that we can’t afford to do.

"Nedved? He is fundamental for us, even when he is not 100 per cent fit. But he’ll only play if he is up to it physically."

Squad: Buffon, Ferrara, Tacchinardi, Montero, Tudor, Legrottaglie, Pessotto, Emerson, Miccoli, Del Piero, Nedved, Chimenti, Birindelli, Trezeguet, Zambrotta, Blasi, Thuram, Bonnefoi, Kapo, Olivera, Zalayeta.

I agree stu,i don't like the probable line up neither.

    I would go with:

    ---------------------------Buffon---------------------

    -------Biri--------Thuram-----Montero-----Zambro--------

    ------Oli------------Emo------------Blasi----------Neddy-----

    ------------------------Trez---------------Dp------------------------

-if Neddy starts on bench, then Kapo should start and Neddy come in the second.or Neddy start make the job,and then replaced with Kapo in the second half.

-If Oli doesn't play good(i believe he will do well) then throw Zambro to the right, and bring pessotto or someone instead,to the defence.

    GO JUVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fero::fero::fero:

I will watch it on Canale 5,i hope i just could hold my nerves and my heart.

*Juve out of the Cl*--->it's just immposible to understanding, for my brain!!!

may we win...i go with 1-2 or 1-3.

hmm i would go like this...

    ---------Gigi (if hes ready)

    Brili---Thuram--Montero---Zambro

    ---Olivera-----Emerson----Blasi

    ---------------Neddy

    --------Trez---------DP

if not blasi there then kapo in where blasi is, and blasi where olivera is, then olivera out  !

Actually quite balanced. Blasi is more of a defensive player , which would give the room to Zambrotta to attack down the left. In some ways it actually quite resembles milan's system, except that the midfield is the other way around:

Olivera in Seedorf's role, just on the right instead of on the left like Seedorf.
Blasi = Gatusso, although on the left instead of the right.
Nedved in Kaka's role (although Kaka is more of a forward and Nedved a real midfielder)
    Emerson in Pirlo's role

I didn't see the first leg but I think Juve should be able to win this game, no matter the injury worries and other obstacles. Juve are at a much higher level than the swedes, they know it, they just have to knock the fear of not qualifying out of them, somehow, and play like they know they can - with spirit, determination and belief in themselves. That will be no easy task but I'm confident Capello and his players will make it.
