Maybe it is time to change mentality? I know this is Juve DNA but perhaps we need something different if we want to be more successful in Europe.
We will never win against the likes of Barca trying to play like Barca. We need to have our own identity and play to our strengths. We've seen Atletico play their own game against some of the big boys for example getting good results.

I love the reaction from the usual suspects.

Back when we used to draw with the likes of Nordsjaelland and Copenhagen (or insert random European minnow), we'd always point to the Bayern's and Barcas of the world and marvel at how they routinely despatched their opponents with big scorelines.

We finally do the same (in our biggest away win since the 95/96 CL season) and some of our fans are doing the best they can to discredit our team by saying the result doesn't matter because Dinamo Zagreb are weak team. A lot of these same fans were predicting a loss or a draw before the game started.

Hypocritical, spoilt little assholes some of our "fans" are.

hallo guys,

can someone explain to me how we played yesterday, i mean the formation.

first it was the usual 3-5-2

then he brought cuadrado for pjanic, did cuadrado play as a cm? or did we change our formation?

then came on pjaca for me barzagli, and i couldnt see a clear formation...

i guess allegri didnt stick with 3-5-2, or is there a website which explains it good?

It looked like a 4-2-3-1 to finish. Pjaca as LW, Dybala CAM and Cuadrado on the right, with Mandzukic as the ST. Khedira and Hernanes as the midfielders, Evra/Chiellini/Bon/Alves as the back four.

and until pjaca came on, what was it? i saw cuadrado play around in the middle of the park...sometimes he changed position with hernanes when the later run forward..i was left completely irritated

Yes, Cuads was playing in the middle that time. A'la Di Maria under Ancelotti in Real Madrid.

Juve's succes, also european, is build on its defense, organisation, determination, mentality and grit. Coupled with a handfull insane players who get the freedom to shine, instead of loading up on them.

We cannot neglect our origins. But we can improve a whole lot, we can start there

Was thinking exactly the same. Nords, Copenhagen, hence even Gladbach. How much frustration did we get ? And now we got players who make short work of it. Players like Pjanic and especially Higuain who'll take that free chance and score.

This were supposed to be the games that were tough, a opponent that parked the bus.

I think we played our 3-5-2/4-4-2 hybrid at the start and then moved to something like 4-4-2/4-2-3-1.

    i see,

pepe was also winger before conte used him in cm, interesting....
i think it was mostly cause he wanted to play cuads and pjaca, but didnt expect pjanic to drop out

So he started cuads out of position at first, much sooner then planned cause of pjanic knock, and when he brought pjaca in, he lined us up how he planned

I liked it. No pjanic ? go 4231

It was a 4-4-2/3-5-2 hybrid with Cuadrado playing LCM/LM. Same position Pjanic played when he was on the field.

    Buffon
    Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
    D. Alves Khedira Hernanes Pjanic Evra
    Dybala Higuain

Good win. I have to say Higuain is mad good. A pity he isn't as handsome as c.ronaldo. Or he would have been a BallonDor winner.
Imagine being higuain and carefully styling your hair to cover your bald spot, only for a header to mess it all up. I think Male Grooming really needs to be re-looked at, hence I have decided to do my final year university thesis on whether male grooming products are efficient enough or not.

Fellow juve bros...if you think you are good looking, can u kindly do the below survey for me? 5 questions! hahah

We went to a 4-4-2 with Alves in the right and JGC in the left. Then It was a 4-2-3-1.
