Andres Jung (Bayern)

"We got the most complicated draw. I dont think the pressure is only on us, they are a big team with great ambitions. Last year they got to the final. We wouldve liked to avoid them"

One thing I still don't understand, how do they put this match with Arsenal vs Barcelona's match in the same day?

This is fucked up. This is totally fucked up. I don't say we're finished. But well, the target so early in the competition is to go through with the minimum effort. And it was relatively easy to get the Ukrainians.

Anyway, history is history. But let's get some lessons out of this. And I am not referring to Sevilla. At that match we played really well. Created a lot. And were unlucky. But taking less than 4 points with the team that finishes last the group is totally unacceptable. And in the matches with Gladbach we were not good enough. Nor trying enough.

Anw. Bayern it is then. This Bayern has weak points. That's for sure. We can do it. But we need to show our best. Best case scenario, we are through and a huge morale boost. Worst case, we go out from one of the best teams in there and focus in the league. Both relatively good.

Well lets look at the positives.

This bayern team, while favourite, is not the same team that fuked us last time.

We have a better attack than last time.

We dont have pirlo to be referenced and fuked again.

We dont have conte on the bench, so we can hope allegri sets this team much better than conte did.

Actually its not a bad draw in any other sense than financially. Two games against Dinamo Kuiv(should be fucking KIEV) would not help us to grow much anyway.

There are too many question marks in Munich. Will Pep leave? If yes - players might get extra motivation to win the CL, but just as well might lose concentration. If we manage to beat them, even if its Inter-style: all the luck and referees, it will move our group to another level mentally. Then we are having a real run in the CL on our hands and in Italy they will just shit themselves and handle us the medals.
