I think you're taking him way too seriously.
I'm pretty sure he's saying it in a fairly lighthearted fashion. He knows we have to win/draw against Real and then beat an incredible opponent in the CL final. But where he is 100% right, and so many of the pessimists are being ridiculous... is that we are on the same level as all of the teams left. We all have advantages, and it's up to who can nullify the others strengths best.
We have the best defensive record in CL this year. Bayern has the best keeper, and alongside us, the best midfield. Madrid and Barca have by far the most dominant attacks, and very good fullbacks, but weaker midfields, defences and keepers.
Healthy Bayern is probably the most well-balanced side. And we would definitely place second in terms of well-balanced. Madrid and Barca are immense in their strong positions with the best players in the world, but very lacking in other areas.
Suggesting we are outclassed by any of these teams left is a silly as AJ saying we are guaranteed to win it, and I'm going to assume his is just a reaction to all the pessimism still prevalent.

Perhaps. Healthy Bayern is much more balanced, but it appears they won't be healthy again this year, so that's irrelevant.
Our midfield strength in every aspect means our defenders are rarely hung out to dry against attackers. I really don't see Barca's front 3 dominating us, as our MF should be able to handle Barca's mid with ease and help out in defense. Assuming we got to the final, Pogba would be healthy and in very good shape again.
The bigger question is whether using our midfield to help nullify their attack will allow us create anything going forward, but Barca can be vulnerable on the counter when they commit the Fullbacks forward, and we've seen for a few months now just how effective Morata and Tevez are countering, especially with Pogba and/or Pereyra in the line-up. I really don't see them being clearly superior at all. I see it as a very very close match up, and I'm very curious as to how it would play out.

The "this position" is better than "that position" arguments are usually worthless. Its team v team not individual part v individual part. Juve didnt beat Madrid because their individual parts were better, they one because their team was better. Juve was cohesive and organized, while Madrid wasnt. Thats the story.
Their fullbacks are better offensively. Not even close defensively. Lichtsteiner is twice the defender. Evra is our weak spot defensively.
