What are you guys going to watch tonight?

I have a feeling Bayern will just rape Porto and make the game look like a one horse race as they are capable of scoring 5+ goals easily. However, I do hope Porto pulls it off and kicks them out of the competition. It would be freaking huge.

PSG? Meeeh... can they really do it, or do anything at this point? :boh:

Whatever I decide I can't wait to see us up against Monaco tomorrow. So so scared.
Usually I'd agree, but injuries really got Bayern's squad decimated. There's barely any player who's not either injured or just coming back from one. Dante is in shit form as well, and they're too fragile defensively as of late, and Martinez too much of a beast for them to keep a clean sheet. I'm not saying it can't happen, but I'm more confident that Porto will go through. Wishful thinking ftw I guess.

Also, Barca - PSG is basically done.

Btw,confirmation of what i was getting at few pages back regarding the CL seeding from next season.

Good news for Juventus, as next season they’ll be Champions League seeds in the draw.

The rules are changing for the 2015-18 cycle and were formally unveiled by UEFA this evening.

The most important development is the seeding process, as from now on the domestic League winners from the top seven nations will automatically be placed into Pot 1 for the group phase draw.

Until now it had been decided by the often controversial UEFA ranking.

The Champions League title holders are guaranteed a place in the group stage as seeds, while the Europa League holders will be sent through the play-offs.

If there was a 'Double’ – a team winning both the Champions League and their domestic title – the eighth place would go to the winner of the eighth top domestic League in the UEFA ranking.

“Exceptionally, an association may be represented by five clubs in the competition if the Champions League and/or Europa League titleholder does not also qualify through its domestic championship.”

Boy it's hard for me to see Bayern keeping Porto off the score sheet when they are forced to open themselves up. The losses of Sandro and Danilo are massive though for Porto.

It should really be a combination of UEFA Coefficient and winning the league.

Roma, for example is 47th, Lazio, 38th in the coefficients... If they had won the league, they get pot 1? :sergio:

We didn't deserve Pot 1 after 2011/12... We won the league in large part because we didn't have midweek european fixtures.

I'd say if you're outside the top 16 in the rankings, you should get pot 2 for winning the league, and if you're top 16 you should get pot 1 for winning the league. Much fairer this way, and it doesn't really allow a team to jump into pot 1 after a year without European football, or after several years of group stage exits.

I am not getting my hopes up.

Bayern will rape them, in the first match Porto scored 3 goals and 2 of them were massive mistakes from Bayern's players.
