Guys, I don't mean him specifically :p. I mean punching someone in the face during the game so it isn't like "today's pussy football."
Not a full-on punch in the face. Like sucker punch, KO someone. That obviously has no place. That video shows more of a tap in the face. Players now would drop to the ground and writhe in agony from that. Some of the retroactive suspensions that happen now from a player accidentally tapping someone in the face during a set-piece scramble, are absurd.

Players were far tougher in the past. Of course there was still diving, and embellishment, but it was nowhere near as prevalent, as players knew the refs wouldn't bite on the vast majority of it. Now, refs bite on almost everything. Diving and overacting is rewarded.

My favourite is still Rivaldo against Turkey in '02.

Luis Suarez says Giorgio Chiellini must take part of the blame for being bitten by him, calling him 'irritating’.

The Barcelona forward infamously took a chunk out of the Juventus defender’s shoulder during Italy’s clash with Uruguay at the 2014 World Cup, with Italy eventually crashing to defeat.

“I have people who help me solve the problem,” Ivanovic told Cadena Cope when asked about his numerous biting incidents.

“Some of the blame in the past was mine, some of it must go to the defenders who provoked me.

"Chiellini and [Branislav] Ivanovic, for example, are two that wind you up again, and again, and again.

“They are irritating, but now what happens is that I provoke the defenders. Before I’d engage in a battle with them, now I walk away.”
These comments are setting up nicely for a potential Barca-Juve semifinal :D Suarez Vs his two best buddies Evra and Chiellini :touched:
