Haters going to hate, but Premier league is obviously the best league right now. It has the most money, most viewers and a very good way to distribute the money. Teams like West Ham can go and spend a lot of money strengthening their squads and can now pursue players once thought unreachable for them. Although the quality at the top of the league has no doubt declined, the mid table teams keep getting better and better.

Barca, Madrid and Bayern are definitely better than any team in the Premier league(Bar Chelsea) and have higher quality of players no doubt, but the overall strength and product of the Premier league is higher than La Liga and Bundesliga.

Some leagues are better suited to European competitions, that doesn't make the others worse. Of course, every time Serie A sides do bad in Europe, the mainstream media would say it's because Serie A is shit. When EPL teams do bad, only then it's because they're not suited to Europe.

Well, in terms of potential Verratti is obviously miles ahead, but their current ability, though they are different player types, is rather similar imo. Can't really put one of them too far ahead of the other.
