Reus should be good to go once the round of 16 starts in February.

Mhkitaryan will most likely miss the matchup or at least the first leg. Though, I doubt they'll miss him not converting all those chances.

Also, it seems like Dortmund could do something in the winter and buy another player. It's believed to be Salzburg winger Kevin Kampl, who said goodbye to the fans with tears in his eyes during their last home match of the year.
I think he'll either go to Dortmund or will be moved within the company to Leipzig, as they pursue promotion to the 1st Bundesliga.

Kampl is more of a central midfielder with some attacking tendencies. I can't see him going to Dortmund because they are pretty stacked in his positions, unless they use him as a winger like you are saying. In Slovenia he is linked to Leipzig and Leverkusen which seem more probable to me, but I don't really watch Bundesliga.

It is a 50-50 tie. Monaco, and arguably Porto would have been easier, but we avoided the big 4 (especially Real and Bayern). Real, Bayern, and to a lesser extent Chelsea have both better teams and coaches then we currently posses.

Dortmund are fast on the counter, and play at pace, which will pose problems for us. However, they are also vulnerable defensively, and if we are able to utilize that to our advantage, it will favor us. I can see us squeezing a 2-1 win at home, and possibly getting a 2-2 draw or even suffering a 3-2 defeat away. However, we need to be firing on all cylinders (Llorente can't be fucking static, Vidal needs to get his shit together, and we need all our players, especially the defenders, healthy). A couple of reinforcements (creativity and defense) in January might potentially help a great deal.

if we get have a healthy and 100% barzagli, then i like our chances even without any upgrades up front, but if we dont we really need more firepower
good point. the other thin i wonder is if he is healthy, and asa is still unfit or out, would we play this: 26-19-15-3.

but what we really need is vidal to hit form. he's too important defensively and offensively. 2012-2013 vidal would give dortmund mid a tough time.

but we also need one of morata and llorente to start scoring on a regular basis because as it stands our attack is kind of broken and our goals scored from open play in the box lately has sucked.

How are people saying its not a good draw? I mean its all relative obviously, as none of the teams you're going to get are easy, less so when you're second place. You guys dodged Bayern, Barca, Real and Chelsea, that alone makes this an amazing draw. I mean I'm sure you'd have loved to get Monaco :)D) but Dortmund and Porto are still good draws for you guys.
