i think two years ago we earned like 10m more than bayern (who actually won the whole thing) despite milan qualifying for the RO16 as well...

Hopefully they dont bottle the EL, Italian teams always give everything to finish as high up in the league as possible. They qualify for the EL only to bend over because they care about the league more.

It's an endless cycle but i think the mentality is changing now and teams try harder now.

that's just 'market pool'... there's also performance based money... like €3.5m for participation in round of 16, 3.9m from participation in QF...

the figures I wrote was an estimation of 'extra' money because of Roma's early elimination. like an approximate extra €9m because of Napoli's elimination in the qualifying stages.
