Well there were a few of us at the start of the year who realized it's a whole new level for a director when he has to shape the roster around the league and the CL.

Sabatini left Garcia with Totti and De Sanctis at striker and keeper, two of the most important positions ffs. He brought in Cole for LB. Emanuelson for LB. M'Biwa and Astori for CB. It's all garbage.

There are some budget restrictions of course but he couldn't find ANYTHING for striker or keeper? Even Storari would be better than De Sanctis. De Sanctis threw the game away in Moscow. You can find backups in Italy who are better than De Sanctis. You can't even find one CF that can run? Even Giovinco can run. Totti and Destro are made for football in the 90s.

He spent all his money on Iturbe who has been a flop so far. The only bright spots have been Keita for free and Manolas.
