No I didn't. This team is not ready to face such strong opposition in the Group Stages when we're not able to advance against minnows such as Copenhagen and Gala.
Barca's defence is shit.Out of all the teams that'd start as favorites against us(Madrid,Bayern,Chelsea,Barca),I would fancy getting a result most against Barca. We'd get beat at Camp Nou,but at Juventus stadium(where we're undefeated in Europe, mind),we can nick a lucky win.
The other pot 1 teams,it would depend on which Juve turns up.
"league must do well" is something we understand differently. IMO Napoli's exit doesn't matter. If it was the case, Serie A wouldn't get the better TV deal because Italian clubs have been sucking for a long time now. And they got the better deal in the end.
IMO the league will do well only if things mentioned by me above are to be done. Otherwise it doesn't matter. For me it was obvious Napoli wouldn't go through. Next step is Roma going out in the group stages. As for Juve I don't know what to expect tbh.
Fucking Napoli, pathetic piece of shit club. That's what you get for having Maggio - Albiol - Koulibaly - Ghoulam as your back four, fucking Chievo Verona has a more solid defence.

I agree with you we're not at their level, obiouvsly, they're probably the best in the world for individuals. But you get way too far with underestimating us just because of this Serie A bullshit.
About the Gala and Copenaghen matches, if you watched how those match developed I don't have anhting else to say... We have had way worse matches in Serie A that we still won with a lucky beat, while in those 2-3 matches the ball just didn't want to go in. It happens. And without the Istanbul ridiculous situation we'd still have got through, probably.
The year before we got to the QF quite deservedly with a worse and unexperienced team, I think this is the best demonstration.

With Napoli out of the picture and Roma unlikely to reach the knockout stage, we are set to become this CL seasons biggest earner. I think that qualifies as "having something to do" in the competition.

Same about your irrelevant comments about us getting destroyed by Barca. I quess you said that last time when we got Real. Keep it to yourself next time.
