Directly, no. It draws more attention to the league. Rather than people going around saying things such as "Serie A is irrelevant" or "Serie A is shit" that will begin to change as more people begin to watch again. More viewers and attention = more money = better players. I would argue yes to an extent that continued productive runs into the CL by English teams definitely helps to bring them more money. Look at Arsenal, what have then done ever to warrant such a rabid and deluded fanbase? Well, every season they're in the CL, playing "attractive" and getting far. You want a league with just one powerful Juventus and nothing else? Look at PSG. All that money and even still no one cares about the French league, it's still irrelevant. But we can't even be on that level because we will NEVER have money like that. We can only improve so much in a weak league. For our ceiling to be raise so must everyone elses, and to me that's what I really seeing it all coming down to.
