Directly, no. It draws more attention to the league. Rather than people going around saying things such as "Serie A is irrelevant" or "Serie A is $#@!" that will begin to change as more people begin to watch again. More viewers and attention = more money = better players. I would argue yes to an extent that continued productive runs into the CL by English teams definitely helps to bring them more money. Look at Arsenal, what have then done ever to warrant such a rabid and deluded fanbase? Well, every season they're in the CL, playing "attractive" and getting far. You want a league with just one powerful Juventus and nothing else? Look at PSG. All that money and even still no one cares about the French league, it's still irrelevant. But we can't even be on that level because we will NEVER have money like that. We can only improve so much in a weak league. For our ceiling to be raise so must everyone elses, and to me that's what I really seeing it all coming down to.

In a way success in CL will surely be positive in terms of financial.

Very true regarding the tv deal, however I cannot see it continuing to increase should Italian teams continue to fail in Europe if the crisis continues. There was an increase, but lets look at it compared to the Premier League:

Serie A is currently full of shit, and still there be some jokers thinking we have the best league and such. Did you know in this 5 years, there had been 4 Serie A team who gets knocked out in preliminary.

And if it was Roma or Juventus playing Bilbao over the two legs, I think Bilbao would have knocked Roma out and Juve will be given a close run.

So please stop overrating Serie A, calling Spanish a two horse league, calling Bundesliga a one horse league, or saying EPL has not technical value, cause Serie A is a freaking lousy league.

We are clearly no where near the the top 3 EPL, La Liga or Bundesliga.

4 times out of the last 5 season Serie A sides have got eliminated from the CL qualifying rounds.
