Watching Dante, Boateng and Luiz, one can truly appreciate what defenders we've got. At least a level above those three!
:agree: Chiello and Bon-bon are among the best defenders you'll find these days, if not the best.

It looks impressive, but just wait until L. Enrique comes up against a great tactician.

EuroMaxx is gonna have a field day

EuroMaxx is gonna eat him alive
The last time that Juve played Enrique's team he got trashed while coaching Roma 4-0. Yeah, there's a difference in quality obviously, but he'll have that in mind as well.

if bayeren will be like this for a while, then why not playing them. we can beat that defense.
I rather Bayern out before their best players are back... with Robben, Schweinsteiger, Benatia back (iirc Alaba has long-term injury) I think they can outscore teams even when/if their defence is weak.

Boateng >>> Chiellini or Bonucci any day of the week. Boateng has been probably the best defender this season, amazing in WC, amazing for Bayern. No way a fucking Bonucci is anywhere near him, that's like comparing Tevez to Llorente. No, just no.

i'm a believer that luck plays a large part in cup competitions. injuries, refs, form, wood work, draws. all have decided games too many times to count
I totally agree. I'd only add that some CL wins are easier than others because of this. If we do get Porto and and then meet Barca in the final and win the trophy I would not consider Juve the best team in Europe at all. I'd still rank us below Barca, Bayern, Madrid and around the same level of Chelsea and PSG.

It is one thing to win the title having powered through Arsenal, Juve, Barca and a great Dortmund and its another thing completely to win having powered through a collapsed Dortmund, Monaco, Porto and Barcelona.

Having said that, I obviously want the easiest route possible to maximize our chances at getting the trophy. It would be great for Juve and for Serie A
