My thoughts exactly
If there is a team I would like us to avoid its Bayern!
Monaco and Porto would be nice
PSG wouldnt be the end of the world
Barca I would like us to avoid but rather them than Real and Bayern
Atletico - I see them as very strong defensively I would rather we get someone else

I think we are going to get Barca
Best teams to face IMO 1=best
1. Monaco/Porto
2. PSG
3. Atletico
4. Barca
5. Real
6. Bayern

Best draw possible
*Juve-Monaco (we will be 80% favourites at least...)
*Bayern-Real (one of those monsters are out)
*Barcelona-Atletico (Barcelona`s attacking force or Atletico iron defense one of them is going out)
*PSG-Porto (PSG will surely go through and will be a relatively easy opponents at the semis... If Porto manage to surprise them then cool Porto will be our bitch)

and this is probably one of the worst years to face them now that messi is playing out wide again.

we dont play nice against wingers and neymar and messi are going to be trouble
Neymar:howler: biggest troll in nowadays football unless he matures really soon.

Bonucci would literally kill him.

:agree:

We've had Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern, Dortmund, Atletico over the past few years....logic tells us that we finally have a match-up with Barca and that midget cunt Messi.
Careful what you wish for mate :D

Messi has been absolutely on fire recently, yesterday he toyed with City and nutmegged half their squad. Fuckin hate playing against that fucker, especially at Camp Nou.

so true,
chiello and bonbon vs messi don't sound like a good idea.
maybe barza can deal with him. otherwise let vidal man hunt him doing all game :)

City are quite poor defensively though.

Would be interesting. PSG are a tough side to face, that much is certain.

We may win this, we're looking that good. I might be getting ahead of myself here, but this Juve reminds me of our old side, very tough to break, strong in the middle and lethal upfront. Complete side with very little shortcomings. Our playing style could be difficult to cope for any of the remaining teams and after last night's game most of the teams at this point would probably find us the least favorable side to meet.

Real Madrid's poor form is a plus, but Bayern and Barcelona look very strong right now, I think they're a level above us and hopefully will be avoided.

Problem is that once you get to a potential semi final stage any exit is hard to take, we've had it rough in this competition.

If someone could post what German media wrote after last night, I'd be much obliged. What are the headlines in today's papers? Comments from their experts, etc...

klopp and dortmund players:
- was full of praise for juve, "fully deserved result".
- "if you don´t shoot, you can´t score".
- nowhere close to juve in this match/season.
- in the first half decent build-up play until 20-25m in front of juve´s goal, pretty much nothing from there.

- hummels and kampl pretty much said the same + the early goal didn´t help.
- juve had an answer for everything.
- hummels was annoyed by the fans, who whistled at half-time.

spiegel online:
- gap of class.
- in the beginning of the season dortmund´s main problem was, that they needed too many chances to score, yesterday they pretty much didn´t create any chances at all.

sky:
- dortmund out without a whimper.
- unbelievable goal from tevez. no chance for weidenfeller.
- vidal should have gotten an early yellow.
- fully deserved.

bild:
- dortmund´s dream tutti kaputti (kaputt = trashed).
- more ball position without creating nay real chances.
- ratings (1 = best, 6 = worst): reus, mhkhitaryan, aubameyang 6, subotic, schmelzer, sokratis, gündogan, bender, kampl, kirch, kuba, ramos 5, weidenfeller, hummels 4.

focus:
- spiritless dortmund offence.
- no ideas, no courage.
- ratings: weidenfeller 4, sokratis 5, subotic 4, hummels 3, schmelzer 4, bender 5, gündogan 5, kampl 5, mk 5, reus 5, aubameyang 5, kirch 4
