Oh yes we are! Look at his albums, some were sooooo shitty, they were good but would expect much more from him. His last two solo albums were meh, while Distant Relatives was monstruous, Illmatic, It was Written and I am were really good, Nastradamus, Stillmatic were meh, good but not Nas good.

Maybe it's just me, I expect a lot from Nas and everytime I listen to his verses/songs I expect it to be really really good, sometimes he dissapoints simply because he set the bar extremely high for himself.

stillmatic was meh? :howler: dude stillmatic is better than any albums Mos Def, Andre, Common, Roots, or Fugees could ever dream of making

And that was a one-way beef anyway. Nas loved 2pac.
these kids speaking of things they know nothing about

Pls. Stillmatic was meh, it had a couple classics in there but other than those the tracks were below Nas-lvl.

As for better than anything made from the artist stated above. I may have some crazy bias towards them but saying that Stillmatic is better than Black on Both Sides, Be or anything those artists can dream of is laughable imo.

a couple of classics? thats more than mos def has had his whole career, dont get me wrong i like his work which i believe peaked with black star, but this fuckin nas we are talking about and to most stillmatic is his 2nd/3rd best album. i suggest you revisit and carefully listen to the lyrical genius in this album.

The Don: Killuminati?
But the thing with Stillmatic is that yes it's a great album but it should've been better.

Either ways Distant Relatives was my favourite album from Nas, really really loved the partnership with Jr. Gong. As for my fav solo album from him is his best work.
