It's hard to remain objective after last night's excellent display but I don't think we're that far behind Barca, Real and Bayern. At least we would give them tough time and it would be sweet to lift that cup once again especially after 3 lost finals in a row. AA said that we will do it in 3 years period and I believe him. Those c.u.n.t.s from Milan have 3 titles and it hurt like hell when they've won it.

With the physical presence our team have, we will without any doubt be a tough opponent, even for the 'mighty' Barcelona.

Our is defense is still to be really challenged, and I have my doubts how it'll do against the mentioned teams.

But you can only be positive after the display last night. We didn't play that well (Offense), yet we came back from 2-0 and our team kept Chelsea to a bare minimum of opportunities. Oscar's goals were the closest you come to unlucky in football.

I don't think there's any team right now that would not find us a very tough match up, we might not beat all of them but I don't think any team would walk over us either.

People are overrating Bayern. They can't even beat Dortmund. :) The only two teams who are really ahead of us are Barcelona and Real. I wouldn't like meeting City either, but I think we would have a good chance against every team and only be underdogs against Barca and Real.

And they beat Real Madrid.

We are overrating a team that went to the Champions Leauge final last season and arguably only gotten stronger over the summer?

And you've forgot United. A team managed by Ferguson with Rooney and Van Persie will always be a major threat.

Bayern is among the contenders but I can't see United there. And it is still to see if Rooney will play there. He seems unmotivated. Their midfield tbh is nothing special. I find us superior at least in that department.

By the way, Shaktar won 2-0 home against FC Nordsjælland. We should be able to beat Nordsjælland comfortably. :)
Shaktar away is gonna be tough. Possibly (dare I say it) more of a test then tonights game?
I watched the match. Both teams are shit. Ought to be easy pickings for Juve unless they have a serious brain fart or field a weak team away from home.

:agree: with Nordsjælland

Don't underestimate Shaktar. Shaktar is a really good counter attacking team and our team has the most problems against those type of football teams.

Shaktar could become a problem especially in Ukraine.

They looked like a really poor counter attacking team last night. It was just that FC Nords had no attacking prowess what-so-ever.

A team can have a bad game. We know that.

I'm not saying that we should fear Shaktar, just that we need to be aware of our weaknesses and their possible strengths. I don't think a motivated and tactically sound Juventus team would have problems against Shaktar.

Nordsjælland's strengths (domestic) are possession and their passing game. When it comes to continental football they are too weak and tactically inflexible to be any threat.

Vidal alone can outpower their entire team.

With Shakhtar we really just needs to be careful on the counter attacks, home and away. They have players suited to that style, but we should dominate possession and the midfield.

Yeah counter attacks are problem for us because our wings are often exposed due to a fact that Licht and Asamoah when we attack play high up the pitch. We shouldn't lose ball way too easily when attacking or this can become a problem. But anyway we definitely posses more quality to overcome them.
