That was a great game. And I guess there is no reasons for taunting Barca. It was a usual, normal fail wich occures in football very often with a lot of teams who are considered as a favorite before the clash. However I reckon that Barcas arrogance and excessive self-confidence have to mentioned. This stupid idea of super ultra versatility of players, having Adriano as a LB Mascherano and Busquets as a CB, all this youngsters allowed to play in extra important games, lack of normal CF as a Villa back up and so on. All this exclaims about the best team in the world have made them thinking like its a true and they are really invincible. But yesterday even referee and Terry's stupidness didn't help them. And that is very pleasant.

As for the game; insane, crazy, why we love football. Reminded me a little bit of Zalayeta's winner all those years ago at the end
Torres was absolute, complete shite when he came on, which made it all the funnier.
Sometimes you can just tell in games that there is only going to be one winner on the night. Messi's missed penalty summed it up. It's nothing to do with 'the man upstairs' and the other bollocks that rat faced cunt was talking about, it's a psychological issue of a team backs to the wall facing an enormous battle and one whose confidence is being chipped away with every set back. After the Messi miss they only had one real chance, the ball just went left to right, right to left.
Barcelona are one dimensional in an attacking sense, it's just that the one dimension is often amazing because of their intricate play. But without the extra scorer (Villa) to help Messi those chances are not converted. Alexis did his level best, but it's his first year.
As for Chelsea, they won't be the favourite no matter who they play in the final, which seems absurd considering they just knocked out Barcelona, but it's the manner of the victory. A one off game now, they won't be backs to the wall or face the same intense possession pressure. In one way this is a bad thing, with the game being more open. But you can't play a final in the same way, and Chelsea have enough quality to give it a good go. It's just one game. How ironic it would be for them to win it this season, considering the stronger Chelsea teams there have been in the last few years.

1. Football (or soccer) is the only major sport where you can absolutely dominate and yet end up on the losing side. If Barca put an equivalent performance in NBA they would be 100-50 up by half time. If Barca put the same performance in NFL they would be 40-0 up. The problem with soccer is that your imperfections are not rewarded (there is no field goal). You get rewarded by only putting the ball in the back of the net. Fifa has really been ruined by Sepp Blatter and an organization stuck in middle ages. Teams which dominate should be rewarded. Innovative strategies to increase goal scoring is not encouraged or endorsed by Fifa. This results in laughable games like today where one team puts 10 people in the box and still ends up successful
2. Teams have started to figure out the strategy to defeat Barca. A combination of bad pitch and parked bus will do the job. Barca doesn't have a strong set piece attack neither does it take shots from outside the box. Just crowding the 18 yard box and conceding the midfield seems to get the job done these days. Point to ponder on whether a regular 4-4-2 type traditional formation would open up more space. Real Madrid is a good example of a side that plays direct football with traditional CFs and are equally successful. I wonder whether Pep will move in that direction next year.
3. What's the point of this game. Football is a sport and we are supposed to be entertained. How is stacking the box and defending since the 0" entertaining anyone. How is bettering the footballing experience?"
wtf? Borderline crazy. the point 1 is what makes football what it is. and point 3, what's the point in fucking passing from side to side and from midfield to defense, it makes you not watch it but sleep during it.

I thought Barca was very static yesterday, and guess they needed someone like Zlatan/Eto'o, a true CF to unlock Barça's defense, their attack is too lightweight, and that Tiki Taka shit wasn't working, Tello and Cuenca are shit players, don't know why Pedro wasn't playing ( I hope we make a move for him come the summer), Chelsea deserved to go through, they played immense defence for about 60 min with 10 players.
Drogba although he's a choker, is one of the best strikers the last decade.

Zidane is the best ever for me but you should keep in mind that Messi is only 24; almost won everything and broke everypossible record.
