Well said, and to those who throw the "I don't care crap". Had Serie A just been a league like Portugal's back in the early 90's I garuntee you most of the fans here wouldn't have supported Juve in the first place. They would have just been known as as a had been team in a awful league like Ajax. I don't see many "Turin" locations under a lot of your user names. So yea a strong serie A is vital for Juve's success.
as for Barcelona? They are the Spain of club football, the media/ fan boys sweet heart. The team that can get away with diving and cheating, and know how to play "real football"
the best thing is Pato getting re-injured - they can't use him, they can't sell him -- PERFECT 
Let me make it sweeter - Milan planned to sell Pato to PSG for really big money (40m eur or something) and the money were planned for Tevez. Pato rejected the move to PSG and Milan had to insist on getting Tevez just on loan, which City didn't want to accept.
So, they can't play Pato, they can't sell Pato and they can't get money to buy a top player without selling Pato.

Serie A built up a very strong war chest in the mid-late 1990's and the early part of the 2000's with the successful CL and El campaigns.
They could "afford" to have a few down years without it greatly affecting their CL and EL places. The war chest is empty now. The playing fields throughout Europe are as even as they have been in a long time.
If the rest of the Italian clubs don't do something in these European Competitions, and soon, then Serie A is going to lose that 3rd CL spot, and this league will be no better than the SPL or Eredivisie by the end of this decade. And that is going to be a major, major problem for the future of the league.
For all the talk of La Liga eseentially being a 2 horse race, that is true. However, what is grossly overlooked are the successes of the other squads from La Liga who have, and are, putting together successful campaigns in the Europa League. This is one of the reasons why La Liga will never, ever lose their 4 CL spots. It is high time for the Italian government to allow other teams to build their own stadiums and to whatever it takes to increase revenue throughout the league, or us as juventus fans, are going to be extremely disappointed in the next 10 years when no champions are going to want to come to a league as bereft of quality as what Serie A will be in the future.
Yes but my point of is, many of us wouldnt have been attracted do Juve had they serie A not been a talented league in the first place. As you have noticed most of us here aren't from Turin. Had serie A just been a league like the Dutch league in it's currents state, then hardly any of us here would have become Juve fans.
My point is to all those who claim "I don't care if the quality is poor in Serie A and it ends up in the 3rd tier of league standings" is bull. It was the quality and success of serie A that got most of us here interested in Italian football in the first place. It might not what you guys want to accept, but it's true.
Todays football is all based around money, the winner of the EL gets what? €6million for winning the thing? You'd get more for finishing last in the group stage of the CL. If they bumped up the prize money for the EL I'd gurantee the Italians team would take it a bit more seriously. But like Leonardo said yesterday, Serie A is a selling league nowadays, and it won't change until the government do something about it.

Milan winning or losing would hardly change much in that coefficient points. I remember some "here" were actually cheering for Inter a couple of years ago in the CL
for the sake of Italian football so what happened ?
Inter won the trophy and Italy still lost their 4th seat and we as Juve fans gained "nothing" out of all this.

Without Calciopoli, Juve would still have been one of the strongest clubs in the world, would not have suffered 1st round flameouts that the likes of Lazio, roma, and udinese have suffered, and the trickle down effect of that would have been that the aforementioned clubs would have had greater success in the Europa leagues, where they quite honestly belong, and the coefficient would have maintaned its level. Serie A cut off its nose to spite its face with Calciopoli, and now Serie A is suffering for it. This short sightedness and heavy handedness have cost this league dearly.
