Juat watched it again. Barca didn't even kick the ball when Nesta fought with the gay diver. The ref could just separate between those two, like happens in so many games (I mean, where Barca isn't involved). Then, after the kick, there was a foul on Nesta by Puyol.

Btw, glad that this thread exist. I hate the gays so much and I was so angry about this match, but everyone around are- of course- fans of these cunts. I feel better now after reading so many posts here that express just what I feel and think.

Oh, and:
1. Nesta is amazing. Can't stop saying this. One of the best CB in the world, and he's 36. For sure, one the best defenders I've ever seen.
2. With Silva and MVB, Milan would have win this. EDIT: No they don't. The ref can always give another PK, no problem. Milan's Gk touched the ball with his hand??!?!?! PK! And a red card.

Barca's second penalty was a technically correct decision, as I far as I'm concerned, but one that the referee has to really want to give. That is particularly the case when the holding isn't anywhere near the ball, especially in a big game where you espect refs to be fairly reticent about making big calls.

The handball against Robinho was just a bad decision and smacked of a ref deciding to bail out a Barca mistake.

When Ibrahimovic is shit in these game (yes, I know he set up the goal) it really exposes Milan's policy of focusing their game and cash on him, while filling most of the rest of their team with second or third rate players.

Aside from the obvious defensive errors, Milan's attack was very poor. Barcelona's pressing was not good for most of the game and Milan got into heaps of good positions, but poor decisions and poor execution prevented them making chances.

Barca are undoubtedly a team in decline.

When they beat Man Utd in Rome they had great players playing in a great system. They were almost impossible to contain because they had dangerous players all over the place and they made the pitch big and moved the ball fast.

Now their game is almost completely focused on Messi. They don't stretch the pitch the way they used to, so it is easier to block up the midfield and deny Xavi and Iniesta time and space on the ball and, therefore, limit the supply to Messi. Their play is also, in general much slower, which again makes it easier to stop them.

So if a player trows the ball a few yards forward, it should allways be placed on the exact spot of the foul ? technically correct, altho only executed when the "a few yards forward" is actually like over 10 meters.

if barcelona comes against a very well organised pressing physical team, with a fast attacking solution, they will get countered pretty hard

juventus used to be like that, inter2009-2010 was exactly that, chelsea used to be like that...

They are very lucky the current game lacks great defensive talents.

however, looking at the best games from juventus this season, with a hardpressing, fast rightflank, and a killer in the centre, we are exactly what it takes to counter them

I've never seen anything like that. He gave a PK based on some fighting took place before the kick. It was a dead ball situation, the incident wasn't even near the ball. Can only happen against Barca.

well busquets raised his arm to bring the ref's attention that nesta was already grabbing onto his shirt, on the move he took the fall. Really that was poor from nesta and really i think it did warrant a penalty, even though these sort of incidents are missed, but if you're going to be pulling shirts in the box you are asking for trouble, the ref took the bait but it was a penalty no matter how soft it was.

With a decent ref in the final Bayern could also beat them.

especially when you think that milan's goal was scored by rinocero and they have no good wing players, like bayerns robben and ribery. it's true they don't have a nesta but they are more solid as a unit. + gomez doesn't choke like ibra.. chelsea won't be a problem for barca.
