yet its ok to laugh at muntari for having his goal that he scored against Juve ruled out? common Alen, i dislike both barca and milan but some are just becoming hypocrytes now
I wanted Barca to eliminate Milan. The penalty on its own was a terrible call but it wouldn't have angered me at all if it wasn't one more big call in Barca's favor in CL.
Muntari's disallowed goal had nothing to do with Juve. The penalty tonight had everything to do with Barca being the team that profited from it.

Ok barcelona do dive a lot, and yes refs do give them the benefit of the doubt a lot of times, but don't you guys think some of the comments here are bit... well far fetched?

2004-2005: Carvellho pulls back Valdes for Terry to score the winner and knock them out.
2006 -2007: They were just plain crap
2007 - 2008: Again just plain crap
2008 - 2009: Yes chelsea could have had a penalty, but ppl forget they had a defender sent off who shouldn't been in that game. Also would Uefa really bank on Barcelona scoring in the last minute?
2009 - 2010: Militio offside, Alvez should have had a penalty, Puyol wrongly sent off against arsenal

Not saying barcelona aren't a bunch of diving cheaters, or that the refs give them the benifit of the doubt. But seriously? you guy genuinely believe Uefa plan to have Barcelona in the finals ever year?

we had our share of favours too..2nd in the league i would say. but milan is waay on top
i don't know about fair share, we've probably had a few such as muntari's disallowed goal against us but by no means a fair share, having 1 penalty all season to the number milan have had says it all really.

yes...i'm not saying it's a big conspiracy, but i'm sure messi is a junkie, those balls are hot and cold and they wanted to get a real vs barca final this season

Not an interesting game.

Goals happening that were irrelevant to the general play.

Barca's second penalty was a technically correct decision, as I far as I'm concerned, but one that the referee has to really want to give. That is particularly the case when the holding isn't anywhere near the ball, especially in a big game where you espect refs to be fairly reticent about making big calls.

The handball against Robinho was just a bad decision and smacked of a ref deciding to bail out a Barca mistake.

When Ibrahimovic is shit in these game (yes, I know he set up the goal) it really exposes Milan's policy of focusing their game and cash on him, while filling most of the rest of their team with second or third rate players.

Aside from the obvious defensive errors, Milan's attack was very poor. Barcelona's pressing was not good for most of the game and Milan got into heaps of good positions, but poor decisions and poor execution prevented them making chances.

Barca are undoubtedly a team in decline.

When they beat Man Utd in Rome they had great players playing in a great system. They were almost impossible to contain because they had dangerous players all over the place and they made the pitch big and moved the ball fast.

Now their game is almost completely focused on Messi. They don't stretch the pitch the way they used to, so it is easier to block up the midfield and deny Xavi and Iniesta time and space on the ball and, therefore, limit the supply to Messi. Their play is also, in general much slower, which again makes it easier to stop them.

Guardiola: "Zlatan whining? I can't talk about his performance, that's up to his coach. I could talk about his games against Inter in 2010."

Major OUCH.
He should shut the hell up

how is it remotely possible that a trainer fails to get the best out of a massive talent such as zlatan, its beyond me.

Juat watched it again. Barca didn't even kick the ball when Nesta fought with the gay diver. The ref could just separate between those two, like happens in so many games (I mean, where Barca isn't involved). Then, after the kick, there was a foul on Nesta by Puyol.
