This will be a disappointing result for Chelsea but Napoli as well considering their chances and giving Chelsea that away goal, should have been 4-0. Thought Drogba was decent, the rest of Chelsea had problems.

Cahill turns like one of them old battleships.

Well I for one am delighted the Italian sides are spanking the Brits, as much as I dislike Napoli and AC at least they're putting on good performances against the supposedly dominant EPL sides. A bit early to be speaking about this but I hope this sparks a change in tides and Serie A starts getting more of the recognition it deserves.

Good luck beating a counter-attacking Napoli in the 2nd leg Chelsea.
:agree: ... bar any injuries, this tie is over imo - hard to imagine AVB's team score 2 goals without allowing acres of space to Napoli in the 2nd leg. Chelsea's chances involved getting a scoring draw or a scrappy win tonight but for that they had to play it smart and compact ... instead AVB was ripe for the taking tonight and a 3-1 loss was the very least they could get away with

No matter how, serie A must keep the best players in Italy and they must not sell them to EPL. Kill them if needed but do not sell them in England. The expected time when EPL will fall behind serie A is approaching. 2 or 3 years max until it happens. But for that to happen serie A must not give its pearls to the EPL.
