so nedved's award is not valuable?

gtfo you ugly disrespectful maggots
It lost its value after they made coaches and NT captains choose the best player.

I mean, Zambia's captain and few others voted Xabi Alonso as best player of 2010 because they thought he's the same guy as Xavi. Those guys are now deciding ballon d'or.
It had it's value when France Football was organizing it, but after FIFA took over (in 2010), it has no value for me.

I've been crying about this for some time now. Truly baffling how someone can take ballon d'or seriously.

Every player in Europe is available at a price dude.

Hernanes from Lazio you could've thrown 30 million at, Inler or Asamoah would've cost 15-20 million.

I think the bottom line was Milan never had 30 million to spend on one player in the summer.
after that fine berlusca got, what did you expect ? fabregas? ..oh wait :D

how did zambrotta played?

I checked last year's voting for ballon d'or. Unlike the time when France Football was organizing the event and when only the media (sport journalists) voted, this year the media, the coaches and the NT captains voted.

If we count only the votes from the media, then it would have ended like this:
1. Wesley Sneijder 315 points
2. Andres Iniesta 308
3. Xavi 247
4. Lionel Messi 182
5. Diego Forlan 156

If the old France Football system was used, as it was until 2009, Sneijder would have won it and Messi would have been far behind.
But the captains of Comoros, Cook Islands, Gabon, Montserrat, New Caledonia, Swaziland, Vanuatu and similar countries all voted for Messi.

There is a small chance that all three of City, United and Chelsea will go out. But it's close to impossible. For that to happen Valencia mustn't lose or play 0:0 with Chelsea in London, Basel must beat United and Napoli has to beat Villarreal in Spain.

Still.... :xfinger:
Oh man, that would be amazing.
Btw, did Bartha cheat? My Rossonero friend's putting up statuses like "Woody Allen, sign some Barca players" :p
