Fuck milan fuck all italian team playing in CL or serie A. Fuck the coefficients and the possibility of losing 4th finish CL spot.

Forza Juve. We win serie A and then tear down CL and i hope none of the other italian teams ever get through to the last 16 in CL.

It's actually rather sad. I mean, I'd punish all teams that qualify for EL and play their third team against any team, it's like their aim is to lose. We've seen such from Palermo when they lost against Thun, but there are tons of examples like that. IMO that's pretty horrible and Italian teams only got themselves to blame for that. Now this season even in CL they'll do worse than Germans, as I don't see Inter doing anything.

I'm sure I read an interview with Galliani saying that Serie A has put up some sort of financial incentive to try and get teams to try harder in the EL. Might have been after Udinese played a reserve team against Celtic.

Still, no indication that teams are taking it more seriously this year than in previous ones.

Hopefully Udinese will give it a go this season. They aren't going to get a top three spot in Serie A and they aren't in any danger of being relegated, so there should be no reason for them not to give it their best shot.

the milan barca game wont live all this hype, i think it will turn out to be one boring encounter
    :agree:

Clarence to bitch Valdes with a screamer from 30meters!
Milan - bafflingly, given how big a game this is - are not expected to start with Seedorf.

Galliani is a cunt. Always criticizing Italian teams in EL, what did his Milan do in the UEFA cup? Diego buttfucked them.
First leg: Dida; Bonera, Senderos, Favalli, Zambrotta; Ambrosini,Pirlo,Flamini; Seedorf, Ronaldinho; Inzaghi

Second leg: Dida; Zambrotta, Senderos, Maldini, Favalli; Beckham, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Seedorf; Pato, Inzaghi

It's fairly strong teams Milan put out. I don't think I watched the games, so don't know if Milan appeared fully committed. Werder Bremen had a good team back then, so Milan could have lost even when giving it a good go.

I had forgotten Senderos played for Milan. :D

He's been having injury issues lately - just recently came back from injury (knee) and might not at 100% yet. Clarence has a knack for games like this one, though, so we'll see
