Do you think Napoli fans were cheering for us under CL? I dont. I wish them nothing but the worst, hopefully the whole city will get swalloed by the ground.

What Napoli does in CL won't matter because Roma & Palermo already fucked over the coefficient points in EL.
well, to each his own..

Messi scored 4 goals against Arsenal in single game, often scores against Man U in big games, and yet he has to prove himself playing in EPL? :D hahah hilarious, Messi is the beast!

Messi will own EPL....

....if he plays in the EPL for Barcelona, with Xavi and Iniesta holding his hand.

0 goals and mega choking for Argentina in 2010 WC and 2011 Copa.
Mes(si) que un choker par excellence.

Cristiano Ronaldo >>>>> Messi and everyone in Messi's family, 10 generations back and forward.

Cristiano Ronaldo sucks dick for his national team too. Messi is the better footballer; Ronaldo the better athlete.

They are both inferior to Fatnaldo and Zidane though. These guys actually led their national teams to glory. They were significant for their countries, unlike the aforementioned pussies.

That's true and I agree with every word but you forgot to mention that Messi sucks.

 I don't think either of them sucks. I mean, they are arguably the best players of their generation. However, until Messi actually wins something with Argentina, I don't think people should be putting his name in the same sentence with Maradona, Pele, Platini, Cruyff, Zidane, and Ronaldo.

Messi destroyed top EPL sides in Champions League, does he need to destroy Norwich to prove a point?

If Messi isn't better than Ronaldo because he chokes with Argentina, well, Ronaldo is even a bigger choker with Portugal. There's no doubt that Messi is better than Ronaldo, those who say otherwise are a bunch of hypocrites. It's so obvious from their posts.

As for not putting Messi on the same category with the legends mentioned, please! Villa has won virtually everything on club level and international level, does that make him a better player than Maradona who never won a Champions League? Retarded thinking.

You haters need to enjoy the magical stuff from Messi without hilariously underrating him while he's still 24 years of age.

:blah: :blah: :blah: We are not talking about Villa here. We are talking about true legends of the game you numbskull. Messi is great at club level, but sucks balls for his country. Explain that. Cruyff, Platini, Maradona, Fat Ronaldo, and Zidane all had something in common. They were consistent and showed up for both club and country.

Maradona may not have won a CL title, but he led Napoli to 2 serie A titles, and they almost won the CL. Serie A was extremely competitive back then, so it wasn't easy to get into the CL with only the champions being assured entry.

You shut the fuck up, I ain't talking to you, faggot. There's no numbskull like you on these forums. I'm having a conversation with those with brains.

Now, based on your retarded logic, before I explain why Messi didn't won a world cup... Explain why Maradona didn't win a CL and still regarded as a legend. Keep the answer to yourself.

I can tell you one simple idea to think about, Maradona single handedly took his national team to two World Cup finals winning one of them. Messi did not take barca to CL titles all by himself.

:D interesting, Messi hasnt won World Cup and that's a big minus for him, while Maradona came no where near to winning CL and that's fine, that doesnt mitigate his excellence, well not winning World Cup also doesnt mitigate Messi's excellence

Well, I believe that Without Messi, Barcelona would've never won the two CL titles in 2009 and 2011. Same goes to Argentina without Maradona. This is a team sport, one has to have good teammates to win a trophy. There's nothing called single handedly in football, I doubt Diego can win a world cup with Spain in 1986 as I doubt Messi can win a CL with Arsenal in 2011.

Though, I'm okay with Messi not regarded as a legend by some, YET. The time will come when it becomes a Fact, soon. But, Messi is difinately >>>>>> Ronaldo. FACT.

Even though Messi was an important figure in barca's wins, he wasn't fundamental. If you don't believe Maradona took Argentina to the title in 86 and Zidane took France in 98, then I advice you to go watch the games ones again. You'll learn a thing or two from how legends take their teams.

And the fact that you should really consider is that C.Ronaldo is a footballer where Messi sucks.
