he is just starting to cover for his ass in case they finish 2nd in such a straightforward group or even don't make it out of the groups at all, with Etoo gone and Sneijder soon to be on the way out too ... look who is replacing them - Forlan, Boriello/Zaraye/Palacio, Kucka, Alvarez, etc.

based on the lack of purpose and structure to their game under Gasp, I'd say a failure in theCL groups starts to look more and more like a real possibility for Inter.
I still can't believe they sold Eto'o. And if Sneijder leaves they're doomed for years to come, would be the best transfer news to hear this summer, and Arsenal needs him badly
Even if merda got Forlan, Tevez and Zarate it wouldn't be half as good as Eto'o-Sneijder

And if Gasp keeps playing 3-4-3 and 3-5-1-1 I guarantee what happened last season with Schalke to happen a lot this season :)

Milan and Inter should progress.

Napoli on the other hand....

They will be lucky to get 2 points from their group. A couple of draws at the San Paolo (against Villareal and possibly City) and thats that for them. They will get trounced at every away game. Their fans will be quite interesting though, they are quite a rowdy lot.

Group stages are getting more and more boring year after year. Anyone following footie can easily predict 10 to 12 teams with will be in the last 16. There should be wildcards to avoid too much trash in CL. The first time I ever hear about Otelul Galati or Viktoria Plzen. No offense blondu and czechs, I'm sure they deserve it, but I'm surely not looking forward to see them in action.

rooting for napoli...i believe they can get out of their group into the next round...im a supporter of serie a so lets get to repairing that coefficient
Do you think Napoli fans were cheering for us under CL? I dont. I wish them nothing but the worst, hopefully the whole city will get swalloed by the ground.

What Napoli does in CL won't matter because Roma & Palermo already fucked over the coefficient points in EL.
