He was excellent when called upon but Bayern were mostly reduced to shots from a distance, albeit some nice and dangerous once, and just throwing the ball in the Basel PA whenever they could hoping for a lucky bounce - very predictable and relatively easy to neutralize.
I remember only one really dangerous situation when Gomez went 1-on-1 with Sommer but Sommer saved the day ... before being body-checked by Muller.
I can't single out anyone from Basel as they all played well as a team and neutralized anything Bayern had to throw at them. It was actually Basel that had the better chances - a crossbar, a goal-line clearance and a the goal, on top of some other dangerous counters. They mostly played it smart and contained Bayern very well.
