Suddenly i don't feel as confident. Boateng in particular is important for their midfield, he adds that much needed energy to their old and slow midfield. I'd have been more comfortable playing against a midfield consisting of Ambrosini, V.Bommel, Nocerino and Urby.

yeah, but a lot of teams contributed to Serie A losing the 4 place (all the teams who lost points etc), you wouldn't say "how ironic Roma cam in fourth..." The irony level here is pretty low imho. Bottom line, "contributed" isn't enough for it to be ironic.

Yeah... all this situation with 4th CL place loss is quite stupid. Inter had undermined the Italian football efficiency, and in the same time won the CL... so Merdafans dared to to consider themself as an only one team who was trying to fight for keeping Italys dignity in Europe.
The only fact which is doubtless, is that with competent and powerful Juve the loss of 4th place could be avoided.
And its a big question, how long will it take to keep it back.
