MOST people will always believe that the dominant player during the time period in which they were most interested in football was/is the best.........its as simple as that
I watched Baggio, Weah, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Del Piero etc, and I can say that Messi is on his way to become the best, but Zidane and Ronaldiho were also specail, one was leader what Messi and Ronaldinho will never be,zidane was also creativity master, the other,Ronaldinho, was a magical dribbler, fantastic tehnique, I rate alongside Maradona ,these three players at the highest level in history, its just hard to pick one, but Messi has more time to show us something "new"

Dude, Messi has played his entire career with Xavi. You don't have enough info to say he can't get it done without him, that's nonsense. You know statistics, you can't come to that conclusion.
Messi played without Xavi in the Argentina national team and choked more than Riquelme does on a big choking day.

Valencia not good enough
He is the best out and out winger on earth, its not his fault Pep Is a genius and didnt give him spaces with Abidal and Busquets always pressing on him
In his clone, seriously? Do you want him to be black and the same height also? maybe the same weight too?

Of course every player is the best in the world in his clone, hell there's only one of each.
Pretty much agree with this, I don't see how you cannot compare Robben and Valencia (they play the same position!).

And Valencia did absolutely nothing to prove that he is the as good as you say he is last night, minimally productive.

Fuck Barcelona. Piece of shit club.

Two type of Barcelona fans:

1. Became fans in Ronaldinho's primetime
2. Became fans after 2009 victory over Manure.

Oh I forgot the third. Closet-fans.

You can't hate them as a fan of football. You just can't. They play football that's a joy to watch, but the icing on the cake, of this particular team anyway is, that they do it without buying big stars and do it through homegrown talent. Sure they plug the odd gap with a Villa or Henry or Ibra, but the core of their team is much more than that. They have laid the foundation for long term success because of this. Their humility makes them equally likeable and Pep doesn't really need to teach this team anything, he just has to manage his players in the dressing room. You can't teach guys like Xavi, Iniesta and Messi, how to play football. I think you can't discount how this team does things. They are fantastic and great ambassadors for the game. As a neutral, it's hard not to support Barcelona. Not because they win, but how they do it.

Just finished phoning my bestfriend who's a hardcore Man. Utd fan. I feel sorry for him. He can't seem to sleep or eat.

Just like what used to experience when we were hitting the finals :D
