Barca had bit more clearer attitude to finish/shoot outside the box in this game, Villa with more eagerness to shoot as much as possible, and midfielders shooting outside the box several times instead of overpass too much, forcing Man U defence to not just drop and wait but out push a bit (Messi goal was bit due to that, didnt pressure him outside the box), bit different approach from them. End result is two goals outside the box instead of walk the ball in as usually.

Indeed, that in particular goes unnoticed too much from them, mostly noticed what they do with the ball, but the intense teamwork involved with constantly running off the ball pressuring the opposition is prolly one of the most impressive parts of their team.
