the attitude of the italian teams has been so backwards it's unbelievable, if milan actually tried in the san siro they might of went through, but no theres no team spirt or anything. The premieir league teams are all together as if they're family.

I would love to take a swipe at tottenham like I usually do but I can't it really is the italian teams fault, they need a kick up the backside and start all over again. The germans did it in 2006 and is now the fastest developing league in the entire world
TBH I can't see Italian football improving at all in the near future - the FIGC is not at all forward thinking and has become backward and archaic - it is unwilling, unable and incapable of changing anything.

I really think many of the French teams are now able to challenge even the best Italian teams, seeing that Tottenham, a top 6 English side, didn't concede a single goal against apparently the best Italian side.

Bayern Munich/Inter or Chelsea/Man U that can stop Barca on good form, not Spurs, Arsenal >>>> Spurs. Arsenal are great at retaining possession (best at it with Barca and Dortmund), but they barely got an inch most of the time, Spurs are more of countering team, they would suffer more against Barca with their approach.

I don't think Bayern could do it, too exposed at the back. Maybe Chelsea if all their players suddenly hit top form. ManU if they make it past Marseille has like a ten percent chance. Maybe Mourinho works wonders with Real. That would be sweet.

Oh, and closing my Barca thread was not needed at all.
Of course, we can discuss cats in a football forum, but football related threads are getting closed? It was a simple anti-Barca thread, not different at all than the anti-Inter thread Rab created. Inter are discussed too in almost every topic, but there was nothing wrong in opening a thread dedicated to Inter, where people can complain about them or make fun of them. Just like that, there was nothing wrong in opening an anti-Barca thread.

You can change the thread's location if you wish, but closing it can not be justified.

Alen, I think it's time to be fitted with a more comfortable tampon.

What Inter thread? The "They all had sun in their eyes" thread? If that's what you mean then you can check my thread again and read my first post carefully.
