I do feel that the ref felt the need of making up his 1st half mistake (clear foul on Messi) by handing RVP his 2nd yellow card which was unfair IMO.

That said, it's about time Wenger realizes that to reach CL final you need to have some veterans in the team, some experience and some character could have saved him tonight. Experience plays a big role and it's obvious Wenger's boys would not deliver under this amount of pressure on them. He will never win the CL if he continues buying only youngsters and no brains.

All in all, Barcelona deserved to qualify and they could have scored a lot more not only after RVP 2nd yellow but also in the 1st half.

Bale and Lennon's pace will get the better out of Milan's aging team.
Something similar is always said about them, like when Manure was supposed to own them a few years ago. I guess even a broken clock is right twice.

They can't use their pace if they don't get the ball :eyebrows:
But do Milan have any fit midfielders to keep possession of the ball? Bommel cup tied, Gattuso suspended, Ambro injured, Prince injured (I guess) and they're left with Andrea and Urby. Right?

Barca's whining and getting plenty of the ref calls is disgraceful. Fabregas was a bigger disgrace today, he should have took the Arsenal jersey off and played with the Barca's one he has under.

It's always fun watching Roma getting whopped. Screw the points coefficient

Urby cup tied, Andrea injured and not called. Boateng was called though.

How're they going to play?

----------------Ibra
-------Robinho----Cassano*
Prince---Thiago.S----Grandpa Seedorf

*Pato

?
Cassano is cup tied

My guess is:

Zlatan-Pato
Robinho
Flamini-Thiago Silva-Seedorf

Maybe Allegri will play that young German Merkel, but I doubt he'll start him. In any case, it's not gonna be easy to win the midfield with these guys and it's gonna become even more complicated for Milan with Bale in the team because Abate won't be able to make his runs and it becomes an even harder job to get the ball to the attackers.

eDIT: Actually, Boateng for Silva or Seedorf is more possible.

 Spurs should go like this

-----------Crouch
Bale----------------Lennon
----------Modric
---Huddlestone Palacios

This midfield would Milan's team. and if Spurs were in need of a goal bring Rafael van Der Fart for Palacios and switch 4-4-1-1

Good bye Milan. Shame no Italian in the next round.
