Were they one yellow card away from suspension? Why not just bench them?
I think that the players take the yellows to the knock-outs. Xabi and Ramos got a yellow tonight and by getting a second yellow the first one doesn't count so they go in the knock-outs without any yellows. Ronaldo was in the same situation too. He was also carded tonight but he didn't get a second one so he'll take this card to the knock-out round.

Doesen't matter a thing. The cun't will be eliminated in the first round anyway.
Btw. If Krasic's dive was unsportmanship, what the hell is this?
It's definitely unethical, but not against teh rules. Sissoko did it against Zenith.

Krasic was punished for diving which is against the rules.

Oh well that's totally different then.

The cunts (is that what we call them?) should get the same punishment as Tumbles.
I'm still pissed with Krasic "unsportmanship suspension". Normally I don't care because you see these thing's happen all the time. In a similar situation, Beckham once said he kicked down a player so he could play.

What a day in the CL this way. Anyway, first things first, Arsenal

Now to the game I watched, Roma - Bayern. What a second half by the Romans, Menez certainly is the spark they desperately needed for so long, he's got the pace, dribbling ability and basicly everything to make every left back shit in his pants while Vucinic on the left gave Borriello all the freedom to roam the backline as he would have liked. Basically the 4-3-3 Ranieri introduced tonight is the right formation for this team. The question is where does Totti fit in all this, well Ranieri could try and give his the playmaker's role but I doubt Totti would sacrifice himself getting his ass back and defending with the team, all that goes without mentioning his age, at 36 you really can't expect a Sneijder out of him.

For the record though, Van Gaal's subs certainly had a lot to do with Roma's uprising, the way he fucked up the whole team for the sake of defending and thus becoming so toothless in the game really made Roma push more forward for the equalizer then the win. The Dutch pulled a Ranieri there and ironically the Italian had maybe his best game for Roma in his year spell so far.
