Did I mention Ronaldo or Zlatan? No, I've seen Ronaldo destroy Chelsea in the Premier League, I've seen him destroy Inter. Zlatan funny one he suceeded in arguably one of the most defense minded leagues in the World.

Why is it a silly argument? Messi showcases fantastic things against open defences, when a defence is compact he struggles thats a fact, choking, struggles, plays poorly they all equate to the same meaning.

When has Ronaldo destroyed Chelsea, in most games against Chelsea, Ronaldo didn't do much save one or two games out of 10.

Messi played better than Ronaldo when United and Barca met, he played better than Ronaldo when twice when the two met last season in the Classico's.

As for Zlatan, where was he against Inter? Where was he against United, the season before for Inter Milan?

There, by the same logic, i can say that Zlatan is a choker because of two or three games. Its silly. This whole choker argument, is outdated and has no basis at all.

I hardly remember Ronaldo "destroying" us, you talk as if whenever we played he had a superb game, which is not true. Sure he has had good games, but to say he always did is bs.

Ok.

It's not outdated until Messi proves me wrong. World Cup was a showcase for Messi what did he do? Zilch.

There's no way Ronaldo can be a choker. In CL the boy always performs and against big teams. On the other hand I can only name one match where Zlatan played well in CL. Zlatan is a big time chokero.
Ronaldo is not a choker. Sometimes he plays well against big teams, at other times, big teams are capable of marking him. People forget the former, but always remember the latter.

Hence calling Zlatan a choker, or calling Ronaldo or Messi chokers. These are world class players that have had good games and bad games against big teams, but they wouldn't be world class had they "always" not peformed against big teams.

Like i said, this choker debate is completely baseless

nah..it's too much to say..give me an example of a choker

i see ronaldo a bigger choker than ibra...ibra played a final? nope...cr played 2 and chocked in one (and a half)
Ronaldo, Zlatan and Messi are definitely not chokers.

The whole 'Choker' debate is complete crap.

Thank you.

I guess as a Chelsea fan its hard to admit.

Sure everytime he did not but atleast 70% he did something that turned the game.

Again, by the same logic.

What did Ronald do? Zilch.

Look if you want to continue with this choker argument, be consistent, so that people might take your opinion seriously. Messi did zilch in the world cup, what did Ronaldo do?

Messi choked against Inter. Ronaldo choked against Milan. Messi choked against Chelsea, Ronaldo choked against Barcelona. In all 5 times he played them.

There we have it, we came to the conclusion that the best two players in the planet are actually chokers who don't perform against big teams.

Gabriel is right though, 3 times out of 5, Ronaldo didn't do much against Chelsea. I'd love it if you pointed out to me a game where he destroyed them, i might have forgotten, as naturally i don't remember every single game he played against them, but i honestly have no recollection of Ronaldo destroying Chelsea.

I do remember quite vividly, how Messi played them off the park 4 years ago.

Isn't it marvellous how in a team game, people choose to ignore the team performance when looking at an individual.

Too bad he left, i wanted to know what kind of criteria you have to follow when labelling players as chokers or not chokers, i don't understand the whole concept at all.

true but in history the name of the club he played will remain
