Wow Dule, take it easy, it's not like we'll fight for 1st spot...

I'm very much aware of their strenght and we are the underdogs here, but this group is far more weaker that the one with Inter, Werder and Tottenham.

If we do a good job at home, maybe, just maybe, we can fight for 3rd spot and EL.

Didn't mean to offend. I just know some reaction by your fans and some are my friends (yeah, many friends IRL seem happy somehow and I don't get it).

IMO it's a tough group...could've been worse, sure...but this is very hard.

I'm sure Fergie will put the Hun in their place.

I wonder how the people of Manchester will react to Rangers after what happened last time they were there.

    And group H aswell, Fred.

Maybe they do it as a subliminal message to tell you guys that you should play in the EL. I mean, in the last group and playing with teams of EL level. :p

These group stages are something of a joke in reality.

Get back to good old knock out football.
    :agree:

It's ridiculous than a team could lose a couple of games 5-0 and still become European Champions.

    Knockout football is great.

knockout stages really does not reflect a team's quality all the time. The more games the better, i like that they have group stages. If it started out by knockout games, there can always be surprises and big teams going out early.

    That's fine, Fred.

I don't want to see the same six teams in the QF every year, with only a couple of variations.
