I hope Valencia scores, they are the better team and Man Utd will have a hard time advancing from the groups. Would be nice to play against them in the Europa league.

Valencia hard done by, a perfect counter did it for utd, but then that was expected. Utd defended really well and rafael for me was pretty impressive.

Man Utd v Valencia just goes to show the value of having a goal scorer in your team.

Valencia had heaps of great balls across the Utd goal, but no-one looked like getting on the end of one.

If Villa was still at Valencia, Valencia win that game comfortably.

I wouldn't say Utd defended well.

    Vidic and Ferdinand played well.

The full backs let too many crosses come in, Van der Saar looked very unconvincing and Fletcher and Carrick didn't do a paricularly good job of protecting the defence, and they gave the ball away a lot.

Soldado is a joke, adruiz is a decent player but I dont know why he kept going wide or back rather he should have been in the box waiting to get himself at the other end. Pablo had a great first half and second was totally the opposite. Tino Costa was pushed well back and his passes were not accurate enough.

Evra was the only one heavily troubled, rafael got caught out few times but did well to come in and head the ball away everytime the ball was aimed far post at adruiz. Carrick was non existent, Fletcher did ok but anderson coming back and even nani was more than enough. Valencia for me could have done a lot better.

Rafael wasn't too bad, but I thought he could have done more to stop crosses coming in from his side.
