Alonso instead of Thiago and no Robben :weee:

Is it Christmas already?
Alonso shouldn't have too many problems in a home game. Especially when there's no Mandzu or Dybala.
Pretty cool we also have Thiago as an impact sub for more creativity in MF.

4-2-3-1? and is that official?
Official line-up. And we don't know the system till the game is running.

Vidal and Alonso though
Turtles everywhere!

:p

Kidding, I have a ton of respect for both Vidal and Alonso.

Truth is I would always want a midfield with more physicality and pace than we have lined up in that formation, pretty much regardless of the opponent.

I also don't trust Hernanes at all, but hopefully he comes up with a big day.

They are defensively very solid. And its not like we are a team that presses hard.

Question: is Asa injured or not in the CL squad or anything like that?
He played 90 at the weekend, but other than that, haven't read of any issues, I think he should be good for a sub role

Vidal and Alonso completely shut down the center against BVB. Don't know how having Alonso over Thiago would dramatically weaken us. Our game is simply a little different then. I'm confident with both.
Alonso will give us more control.

Sandro in attack? I love it! I've been wanting to see this for months, although I didn't figure the experiment would come against Bayern.

That midfield is slow as $#@!. Definitely going to have to change that up during the match, need some more physicality in there.

Fino Alla Fine, boys and girls! Forza Juve, can't wait for kickoff.
There is nothing to love here. We are playing a formation that we are not used to with Wingsbacks as wingers and morata in the middle against a star studded team. That is in a game where we have to outscore these mutherfukers. We don't even have our midfielders in place.

That like Madrid playing Bayern using Marcelo and Caravajal instead of Ronaldo and Bale as LW and RW, and a midfield of Illaremendi and Casemiro.
If we win this, Pep has to resign and Allegri is God.

Alex Sandro and Cuadrado will be great here. Lots of energy to track back but to also hit hard on counters.

Fucking hell it's almost time, guys. High time I set off for the library.

#Juventus starting XI: Buffon, Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Evra, Cuadrado, Khedira, Hernanes, Pogba, Alex Sandro, Morata. #BayernJuve
4-5-1?

--------Licht- Bon- Barz-Evra
Cuadrado- Khedira-Hernanes - Pogba - Sandro
------------ Morata

Or maybe it is

--------Licht- Bon- Barz-Evra
Cuadrado- Khedira-Hernanes - Sandro
----------------Pogba
------------ Morata

or 4-3-3
