he doesnt have to have much time on the ball. Khedira is one of the most intelligent players out there, he is well capable of adapting himself to a new system or role. defensively, his positioning and game reading is much better than what we have available (Hernanes mainly). hes slow but can make up for it with his positioning, height and strength. offensively, he wont be our main playmaker obviously, but there are ways to play around him through Pogba or Cuadrado + his off ball movement is better than that of Hernanes so he will make himself available for a pass more often and he is an underrated passer. i dont think Max will try out a new player there for such an important game but like i said, depending on the gameplan and players around him, Khedira is capable of playing there
